I wouldn't mind seeing vellios given a crack up front alongside jelly for a bit longer than the usual sub appearance. I'd like to see felli playing in midfield against teams like reading, to avoid being left vulnerable. Playing vellios would allow felli to drop deeper. It keeps Neville out of midfield too.
  2. Moyes would be nuts if he were to sell both Baines and Felli. I don't think he'd even consider it to be honest.
  3. 2 minutes can't justify a MOTM for me. Baines was brilliant the whole 90 I thought so I've given it to him.

I thought whilst he was letting a lot go foul wise, he was consistent in doing so to both teams. There were a few times, especially in the penalty box that I thought how is that not a foul? But I felt comfortable that unless there was a stonewall penalty that he wouldn't give one of the same nature against us. That said, the decision to book the Sunderland player at the end was very strange. He almost gets sandwiched by two blues and gets yellow carded?

Dalziel I think it was summed it up before, we sure as hell don't deserve three points but its the score line that matters.

I have a feeling we'll grab a point here, but a point isn't good enough.

Why is Naismith playing on the left???? For fucks sake putting Mirallas I can understand but why take pienaar away from baines for Naismith?

Go out all guns blazing boys. Fuck losing to Sunderland at home and fuck getting another draw. Time to start turning the impressive play into points on the table.

Positives out of the first half... Few and far between. Of course we had to gift them their first goal in what, 4 or 5 games? Jelavic though looks damn inspired to break his little drought so hopefully his effort pays off with a match winning double!

In my time following the prem and this forum I have noticed the pessimism that you Brits possess, but check this out from the Sunderland fans! There's like half a dozen predicting 5-0 to Everton, I'm laughing like an idiot reading it. At least they're honest, gotta give them that. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=740840

Nothing less than a win should be accepted after the last 3 games. To be honest after the draw at Newcastle I thought to myself 'no need to worry, we should have 7-9 points on the board after playing Wigan, QPR and Liverpool'. Only three points from those games will hurt us a bit when it's time to play the upper sides, even if we do have an awesome record against most of them. On Mirallas I think he does brilliantly up until he attempts to finish, at which point three out of five times there'll be someone in a better position. Against Liverpool when he made that barnstorming run from half way and tried to blast it past Jones, he had Felli square of him just begging for a pass, and he would have tapped it in. It's that final ball he seems to be missing, seems to get carried away in his own brilliance and doesn't know when to quit. That being said, I'd much rather have someone who has a go than go back to the old pass it to Baines, cross it in game plan. That shit was getting tedious, even Moyes said he was sick of watching them. My team would be: Howard Coleman Jags Distin Baines Mirallas Osman Felli Pienaar Naismith Jela Unless Gibbo is fit, then move Felli/Osman up front and bench Naismith.

    Liverpool

If you look at the goal disallowed at the end, the bloke who headed down to Suarez had his hands all over jags shoulders. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's a foul isn't it? I was under the impression you can't use hands on an opponent to get up above them. But then the sideline referee didn't wave his flag, he only raised it? So I think it was a stuff up to disallow it, but it shouldn't have been a goal die to the foul on jags.. Let alone the fact that the rat faced racist shouldn't have been on the pitch anyway.

That cancels out Anichebe's winner against Newcastle I suppose. Lucky to get away with the draw, though I believe we deserved the win.

Official Everton ‏@Everton Phil Neville is booked for diving. The skipper, on a run, went to ground but did not appeal. Bemused looks all round. #COYB Looked like a dive to me... Considering what Moyes said about diving I think the whole team has gone down to ground very easily today. Even Suarez appears to be trying to stay on his feet just to prove a point.

    Liverpool

Oh the irony.. Fucking pip. Until then I thought he'd been having a decent game. Mirallas and Naismith looking lively. Although had Mirallas tapped that ball to Felli square it was a simple tap in for him, the one just before he went down.

    Liverpool

Seen 3 or 4 of the scum running round with their jersey's on here in the city in Sydney. None seemed to have a clue what I was talking about when I said Jelavic will tear them a new one tonight. "What's a Jelavic?"

    Liverpool

Gotta be a win for mine. Bragging rights, fourth place and some momentum back after the last two games.
  21. Pearso

    Liverpool

I'd prefer Hitz in there than Neville or Heitinga. Howard Hibbert Jags Distin Baines Coleman Felli Osman Mirallas Naismith Jelavic Maybe swap Naismith and Mirallas around? I think to best accommodate for Pienaar's absence Mirallas has got to be moved there so our left side threat isn't nullified. He can play onto Baines overlapping or cut back in, and on the right Coleman and Hibbert can just do their thing bombing down the line. But then Naismith up front behind Jelavic? I dunno... Probably gonna be disappointed no matter who Moyes puts out due to Gibbo and Pienaar's absence. We would slaughter these bastards if we had our fully fit 11.
  22. Pearso

    Liverpool

I was confident as all hell until Pienaar got suspended.. If we have Gibbo and/or Felli back then we have a chance, if it's the make-shift crap midfield that Moyes put out against QPR minus Pienaar then the red scum shall have us for breakfast.
  23. Pearso

    QPR

Hate to sound like a broken record player but if Neville couldn't take leadership today and put in a decent shift with a makeshift midfield then he's not doing the one thing that warrants his selection in the 11. Missed felli so much today because the midfield was a black hole of lost possession and misplaced passes. No pienaar vs Liverpool AGAIN. For god's sake. Jags MOTM, Howard good, osman and Coleman okay inconsistently, the rest were balls.
  24. Pearso

    QPR

I think the ref made the right decision on the pen, I'd be fuming if that was given against us. Nev though is so bad.. Get hitz or naisy on and go back to the formation that's been working for the rest of em!!
  25. I keep hearing this, but if we're not gifted 4 points on the table by the end of the season I'm gonna feel robbed! Even fate is corrupt these days.
