The most depressing bench I've ever seen

Let’s just hope that the worst that happens today is the world falling out of your bottom and that we avoid the bottom falling out of your world!
I'll happily take one for the team!

I guess he's worth more to us transfer wise with time left on his contract. If we stay up, he deserves to stay for another year. If we go down then we should be able to recoup something and move him on.
Maybe there was a stipulation in the contract that we couldn't trigger the extension if we've already been relegated? Who knows.

I'm annoyingly going to be in the air from just before kick off, landing just after final whistle. Probably for the best

Not a great day for us, but I guess it could be worse. A point tomorrow would be amazing now.

Wow, penalty saved to stop Leeds going 2 up! Really need Newcastle to step up here...

Knowing us we'll offer him a 4 year extension off the back of one decent game

And there's no Match of the Day tonight .
I spent 10 minutes googling it, the one time I want to see proper highlights and punditry

I'm not against Mina starting but I do think Dyche has give in to the pressure to drop Keane.
He can't win

Only bright spot to the result tonight is that maybe Brighton are sputtering and we can also take points off them
Forest had 25% possession, and benefitted from an old goal and a penalty. Didn't see the game but it didn't look like a walk in the park from the stats.

Newcastle absolutely hammering spurs here, 5-0 after 20 minutes
Wouldn't want to be playing them next!

I think I might be done... Forest, Leicester and Southampton went for it this weekend, whilst we see out another match with a whimper and no fight. I never thought I'd see Everton relegated in my lifetime, but I honestly can't see us getting over the line this season. I grew up loving the club, it's fanbase, it's community work, it's history, and whilst that can never be erased I just don't see it in the same way anymore. We used to be the plucky team that over acheives due to lack of budget, but teams hated to face because we were well drilled and full of fight and passion (in my lifetime anyway). We're now a club full of overpaid, mismatched players who look defeated and devoid of any fight. The club I love has been run into the ground and it's like watching a family pet in it's last days, I just don't want to see it suffer anymore

Can't remember the last time DCL played in a 442

65 minutes unscathed apparently.
"Despite the Everton team also featuring the likes of Conor Coady, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Yerry Mina, they were beaten 1-0 by sixth-tier Chester."
