toffee77
I said we should sign him last season but he will just make us play it long. Would be good to have on the bench to bring on for a Plan B can't see him and the yak forming a good striking partnership.
EFC-Paul
The lads a very good player tbh ive seen him play a few times and he'd be a very good signing for us, although he's a big lad he has a top touch on him also a top finisher aswell, few clips of him here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taEY0rqeNYo...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moZJKh0q55o...feature=related check this fucker out not bad if you ask me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhTNxold3bc...feature=related

Everton_Worshiper
He is built well for a 6' 8 guy (unlike crouch). The goal where he passes it out wide and heads in the return cross is quality. Would be a good signing but who knows what will happen. Randomness
from those clips his best goals are when he's on the move and the pass is played to where he is going to be not where he was, which players in our team (not naming any Neville's) will have to realise. Jimmy the blue
It will be interesting to see which members of the board are at todays match, if we're chasing this guy and many others they should either be travelling for signatures or working at Goodison. I suspect most will be at the game
LexKing
I believe this guy would be a massive signing for us(not just cause of hes size ) He was one of the hottest talent in europe about 4-5 years ago. Dunno how they could let him away now with loan? What has happened over there...
Viennatoffee
Valencia vice-president Fernando Gomez has confirmed he has left a decision on Nikola Zigic's future in the player's hands. However, reports from Spain now suggest that Aston Villa, Everton and Sunderland are all keen to sign Zigic on a season-long loan. Zigic and his agent are expected to meet with Valencia on Monday evening to discuss his imminent exit from the club. Gomez told skysports.com: "The exit of Nikola Zigic is next (to happen). "Now, the decision corresponds with them (Zigic and his agent) and Valencia is prepared to close the deal."
Everton_Worshiper
Zigic will only come to the Premiership: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_4060091,00.html
Viennatoffee
A host of English clubs are reported to have shown an interest in the 27-year-old, favouring an agreement which would see Zigic move on loan, but still willing to take on his salary. Maybe another lad on loan?

Maybe another lad on loan? I don't think this will happen. I'm 99% sure you can only have 2 players in on loan? That's why Portsmouth had to sign a player before they could bring in Jerome Thomas. Everton_Worshiper
Nope, the 2 loan player ruling is for players from another Premiership club. I seem to remember you can have 4 or 5 loan players - certainly only allowed to name 4 loan players in the squad for a Premiership match. Nice. I mean, he'd get a lot of UEFA cup games with us..don't see how it could be a difficult decision for him...
Adam
S why did Pompy have to Sign Thomas then when he was on loan as he came from Charlton I beleive?
Everton_Worshiper
Pompey wanted to free up a space for another potential loan signing. Just checked and appears Premier League rules are 4 loan transfers per club per season with a maximum of 1 loan player from the same Premier League team. Premier League refers to loans an "temporary transfers", which there are different variations. Emergency loans are a different kettle of fish... Matt
would depend on the asking price to be honest. would certainly be a target man up front at that height!

Matt
i know exactly what you mean mate, i dont want to go back to the days of hoofin it to Big Dunc. But, Spurs manage to play Crouch up front without hoofin it all the time. Would just require discipline in the back line.
