toffee77
I'm expecting 3 points for this one. If Saha and Anichebe are back then I'd expect to go: Howard Hibbert Jags Lescott Baines Arteta Neville Fellaini Pienaar Cahill Saha I would go: Howard Neville Jags Lescott Baines Anichebe Arteta Fellaini Pienaar Cahill Saha
MikeO
I'd prefer to see the second one but with Ossie back in place of Vic. My first game of the year and all will be well as I'll have Josh with me and he's never seen us lose....or even drop a point . His lowpoint was having to go to a penalty shoot-out at Bristol City at his first ever game . So three points is assured; bit of style and a few goals would be nice also. Bill
Osman should be back and it would be nice to see Gosling keep his place, as i dont think he let anybody down. I would go: Howard Neville Jags Lescott Baines Gosling Arteta Fellaini Osman Pienaar Cahill
MikeO
HowardNeville Jags Lescott Baines Gosling Arteta Fellaini Osman Pienaar Cahill I'd certainly go with that if Saha's not available.
toffee77
I've missed the last 2 since the City game so hoping another victory is on the cards.
EFC-Paul
I think we will take three points from this one aslong as our boys keep Malbranque and Cisse quiet we should be ok. 2-1 win
Jesse11
I've always loved Cisse he has that freakish quality where he can do something out of no where. But our defence have been keeping star strikers restricted in the past few games so I am confident we can do it again. I'm going 3-
aaron
2-0 to us fellaini and jags

jamiemaher85
I actually feel confident about this one, the first one for awhile i do! And that worries me.. alot. Its confusing being an everton fan sometimes!
Romey 1878
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/sund...a-sell-out.html It's a sell out so it should be a cracking atmosphere
Mac
Be gobsmacked if we dont beat these fuckers. BTW won £50.00 off a local numpty in Darlo for us beating Boro. Red wine time I feel. ATB Mac
toffee77
Good news about the sell out. I'm going for 4-0 to us. Saha, Fellaini, Cahill and Lescott. Edited December 27, 2008 by toffee77
Blue4Ever
hope Anichebe is fit, Jags and Lescott need to be on top form today because Cisse and Jones are one quality partnership, Fellaini to score Everton to win 2-
The_Boxing_Aussie
I predict a 2-0 win with Cahill and big man Fellaini on the scorersheet. But it won't be an easy game.
Blue 250
Full house!........The Blues returning to form! The only thing that can go wrong....is Sunderland not reading the script! There new manager Sbragia was appointed full time this mornning, honeymoon period over mate!! If Jagielka and Lescott are up for this, Baines and Hibbert really do have something to prove, that could be a back four beyond Sunderland capabilities. I wonder if Moyes will try a "new boy, home début" stunt ie Gosling.Played pretty well against Borough, it would raise the crowd and could get the players caught up in the passion. Cahill is the man, he and Pienaar.....Sunderland wont be looking forward to Goodison today.
Heather_6
2-1 or 1-0 to us. Fellaini with a/the goal! Anybody have a link for the match???
IrbyJFC
not 100% confident on today no subs made on friday be sum tired legs and sunderland still on that New manager lucky streak. Lets hope wer are up for this COYB
holystove
any links for streaming video of this match ?
EFC-Paul
I dont think tired legs will be the case Jirby as Sunderland are fielding the same team bar two defenders and were lucky not to get beat off Blackburn. If we keep Cisse and especially Malbranque quite they cant operate as they would want to with a full house behind our lads and a streak of our own this should be a good game and three points. Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Lescott, Baines, Arteta, Osman, Neville, Fellaini, Pienaar, Cahill. Subs: Nash, Van der Meyde, Rodwell, Jutkiewicz, Anichebe, Gosling, Kissock. Sunderland: Fulop, Whitehead, Nosworthy, Collins, Bardsley, Malbranque, Tainio, Richardson, Murphy, Cisse, Jones. Subs: Colgan, Edwards, Yorke, Healy, Colback, Henderson, Prica
