The Regulator
So our "fit" players consist of: Howard, Nash, Hibbert, Jacobsen, Yobo, Jagielka, Lescott, Baines, Neville, Van Der Meyde, Castillo, Cahill, Fellaini, Gosling, Jo Our maybe pile: Osman, Pienaar, Saha, Rodwell, Based on that we may field: -------------------------Howard--------------------- Hibbert-----Jagielka------------Lescott-----Baines Neville-----------------Castillo--------------Gosling -------------Fellaini----------------Cahill------------ ----------------------------Jo------------------------- Bench: Nash, Yobo, Van der Meyde, Osman, Pienaar, Rodwell, Saha Not as bad as all that, the strongest bench we've had all season, and a decent team on the pitch, we'll walk over em. The Beard
I'm as confident as Regulator on this match. Even with the injuries we have we should still be strong and good enough to see off West Brom. i know they will be fighting for survival but i think their meek surrender to Fulham last week may have knocked any stuffing they had left out of them. Guest efctaxi
Might be better to give VDM a shot on the right rather than Fellaini . I still don't think Fellaini is at one with things , and with both Jo and Cahill up front , a good crosser might be worth a go .
BlueBhoyUS20
i thought the crossing was poor against the barcodes. i just felt like everything feel short or didnt get to anyone to have a good go at a header. vdm could be a good idea. Jack could be out. Vic is got swellin in his knee and shin. wow. our injury list just keeps getting longer. excited to have hibbs and timmy back. go blue boys! 3-0....like the bolton game we will dominate
EFC-Paul
We should really see these off quite easily on paper :cigar: but i dont think it will be a great game of football but i think we will take this 4-1 Jox2 Cahill and Castillo with a net busting 25 yarder and Bednar for the Baggies Edited February 28, 2009 by EFC-Paul
MikeO
Unbeaten at home since December 7th. Won five and drawn two, scored thirteen and conceded two. West Brom dreadful. Foregone conclusion surely . Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Yobo, Jagielka, Baines, Gosling, Neville, Fellaini, Pienaar, Cahill, Jo. Subs: Nash, Lescott, Van der Meyde, Castillo, Saha, Jacobsen, Osman. Lescott on the bench to avoid a possible ban if he got a yellow. Amnesty after this week-end.

Jimmy the blue
I feel a little nervous about this match, WBA players have been mocked all week, we are expected to walk all over them with ease, things never seem to work out that way for us..............................I'll be happy with a victory but I doubt if there will be much in it, us by one

Wall Writer
West Brom are playing a lot better than I thought they'd be. They're playing quite positively. I'm no sure about Jags' freekicks though!!!

MikeO
West Brom are playing a lot better than I thought they'd be. They're playing quite positively. They are....luckily for us defensively (at times) they're complete shite. Hopefully the goal will kill off a bit of their spirit.
Wall Writer
Yeah, I think we were really starting to get a grip on the game towards the end of the half there. Hopefully, the second half will see us capitalise more on our possession
MikeO
I missed the disallowed goal, beeb said it was harsh....is that right? And Paul....which Veetle channel? Been through them and can't find it.....shame because it's always far and away the best quality stream .
Blue 250
Poor first half from Everton, with WBA playing the better football. Cahills disallowed goal looked fine to me......his second goal looked even better.Set pieces and Cahill look our only productive root to be honest. We seem slow and uninterested, second to the ball 70% of the time.Fellaini and Jo need to get into the game more.If they do and quickly then we should finish the job!BUT it's only WBA's poor finishing that allow us to lead.......this game could finish as anything. Motivate Moyes!..........Get Baines to carry it into the box more, and have Pienaar in their for the scraps.
Wall Writer
I think the ref blew for Cahill supposedly leaning on the defender (i cant remember who exactly). but the replay shows that the defender just stood there, Cahill not even touching him. The ball broke loose, and Cahill slammed it in the net. Don't really understand why it wasn't allowed.
