Matt
ok, theyre not out until tomorrow, but raises a question - who do you want the opening game to be against? Someone big and hope we beat them to give us confidence? One of the new-comers assuming they would be an easy victory? One of the average teams? The derby? Romey 1878
I don't care who we get tbh, I just want to start at home.

MikeO
Don't want one of the promoted teams, particularly away....one of them always gets off to a strong start so best avoided I think. Home to a mid/low team for me...Blackburn/Notlob/Stoke....someone like that.
Ian C
ok, theyre not out until tomorrow, but raises a question - who do you want the opening game to be against? Someone big and hope we beat them to give us confidence? One of the new-comers assuming they would be an easy victory? One of the average teams? The derby? Don't think it can be a derby. I remember reading an article on the guy whose job it is to organise the list. They get a ton of requests from different clubs and from the police and supporters groups for various clauses. I think they try to avoid derbies on important days like the first/final day of the year. Would like Blackpool at home myself. I know promoted teams normally do well but they have an awful defence and I'd like to see us scoring a few goals early on.
The Beard
After last years successful prediciton of Arsenal at home, I think we will get Wolves, at home again.
marcopaulo
i reckon it will be utd away first..although i'd rather some shite at home
Matt
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2010/06/17/2010/11-fixtures-revealed Blackburn (away) it is.... 1st Home game is Wolves - Beard, thats scary.... They look quite well spaced. Not the dates themselves but the teams, think only Spurs then the Shite are the only 2 'big' teams that we face back to back... GoodisonRoad
We Face City and Chelsea Away in December and Home in May, But overall, the "Bigger" Teams, seem to be spread quite evenly, Hopefully a good Season

GoodisonRoad
Im Guessing the Cup Games will be played round a bout that time, but they are yet to be drawn? Thats all i can think of
MikeO
Blackburn finished last season well....lost only one ( ) in the last nine. Could have been easier but it's the kind of game we need to be winning.
Romey 1878
Not the worst start we could have got. Hopefully we come out of the blocks well this season and start the season with 3 points.
nesta2003
I'm happy with that. Winnable away game to start with. I wonder how long we'll av to wait before big sam starts slaggin off our blue kangaroo?
Ian C
Brilliantly BOTH derbies are after the European breaks. So our lads will be off for 10+ days training and resting while Liverpool will be playing tough Europa League games

Kohen
I'm pretty happy with the fixtures, just contemplating whether to get a season ticket for this season :/
mark78
i thought our last game of the season was always home one year away the next, glad to see were at home again cause its a game we always make sure we get over to,just wondering if this has changed, its nice to have the last game at home to give the lads a proper send off/thanks for agony/ecstasy throughout the year
Blue 250
The pressure is usually more on the home team on the oppening game of the season. Time for some revenge for a couple of seasons back, when the came to Goodison on the first day of the season and beat us 3-

inertia8
Pretty sure it'd be randomly generated, then tweaked after a review?
Romey 1878
Pretty sure it'd be randomly generated, then tweaked after a review? Yes, but I doubt they change fixtures just because we started last season at home. They're tweaked for worthwhile reasons.
marcopaulo
they're tweaked after fergie has looked over them i believe?
MikeO
Pretty sure it'd be randomly generated, then tweaked after a review? Shouldn't need to be tweaked surely? The parameters (eg us and Liverpool not at home on the same day) must be pre-programmed I'd have thought.
