duncanmckenzieismagic Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11671_6335229,00.html What you guys think to this... Hes 33! I suppose it would depend on the size of the fee and the wages involved. He is certainly better than anything we have got in that position
craigb Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Posted August 25, 2010 Yeah without a doubt mate, i couldnt see the fee being extortinate, and i think any move from Juve now, spells a drop in his wages, but to how much is the question. I would have him, an experienced head, would be a good signing in my eyes, at least for a season anyway
dark Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 This could be me just being mad but; Is this not a possible replacement for Pienaar?
craigb Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Posted August 25, 2010 This could be me just being mad but; Is this not a possible replacement for Pienaar? I wouldnt think so mate, this guy is 33 now, not sure if hes 34 this year or next, so i couldnt see him being the replacement, if pienaar ever did need replacing
Wall Writer Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I doubt this is more than BS Jurno-izm yet again. Coudl onyl see it happening if Pienaar left and we signed him for one year, while we look for a long term replacement. But saying that, I don't think Peanuts is going anyway.
c1982 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 If it keeps pienaar on the left that's a good thing - he's still a quality winger and just what we need, I'd have him on a 2/3yr deal. Who better than a world cup winner to bring players like gueye/anichebe through in that position? Age problem? Giggs is 37(I think)!
Finn balor Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I wouldn't pay a fee for him but he has been a class player not seen him lately tho. Maggie could probably pick up a thing or two
dark Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 A dirty diving piece of scum that would win us a penalty or two!
Matt Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 i hate him! there was a slow mo replay in the world cup where he went into a tackle rather late. the replay shows him watch the ball leave the other players foot then turn back to look at planting his studs on the ankle. Shocking tackle. not the type of person i would want to see. and he cant shave properly.
Johnny Bryant Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I reckon this would be a quality signing. Obviously not a long term investment to the club, but the kind of player who could give us a couple of good seasons and get us into that top 4 finish.
ftaylor Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 dirty diving piece of scum. no thanks... agree completely... one of my least favorite players
holystove Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Would be a great signing to solve the problems on the right side. He's not that old, could be useful for a couple of years.
Romey 1878 Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 11:43 The Editor: Stuttgart are on the verge of signing Mauro Camoranesi from Juventus, according to reports in Germany.
