Steve_E
Between Ossie and Pienaar. Voted for Peanuts.
adziom
Pienaar, closely followed by Gueye and Osman. Shout out to Neville as well. He's had a lot of stick this year but I think he's hit a good bit of form just at the right time. Good performance all round.
pete0
One of the easiest games we will ever have, Sunderland never threatened/showed up. Hard to choose a MOTM as we never really got out of 1st gear, tbh we didnt have to. Osman, Gueye, and Pienaar made the difference but didnt really shine. Think Osmans superb finish just edges it. EFC-Paul
Pretty hard to judge as I'm stuck at work so I've had it on the radio but went with Pienaar from what I could hear. Hats off to the lads as it seems most had a decent game today! Edited April 9, 2012 by EFC-Paul
flaminfox
Gave it to Heitinga, passed the ball well and solidified our defense. Great game for the whole team pretty much, special mention to Peinaar, Osman, and Gueye.
MikeO
Osman for me...was my choice at half time but then I thought he faded a little early second...then back with a bang!
Dalziel Kane
Haven't seen the game and arrived late today, but from what I can make out the entire team did well today so maybe I should simply give them all awards for their performance. If people say Pienaar, then I won't argue, Will have a watch later maybe for a better indication.
Zoo
Hard to pick a MOTM because everyone was brilliant. Osman (like MikeO said) had a really good first half then dissapeared before coming back with a stunning strike to make it 3-0. Gueye deserves a mention for his well taken goal along with Peanuts for doubling our lead. I said to my Pa seconds before his goal that we needed another to see the game out, wish he could be playing at Wembley to stick one like that past Doni. Went for Pienaar in the end, his goal was world class and overall he always looked like threatening the Sunderland defence. Kohen
On behalf of Matt, via the shoutbox: " Johnny, Pienaar or Ossie, easily the top 3. Think Ossie takes it though. Special mentions to Felli, Jags, Hibbo, Maggie and even Faddy" Edited April 9, 2012 by Kohen

Hafnia
Heitinga, just for being the best footballing centre half we've had in a long long time. Class player, his break from defence had me truly amazed. Special mention for gueye, pienaar and ossie.

Class player, his break from defence had me truly amazed. Special mention for gueye, pienaar and ossie. I'd forgot about that, the roof would have come off if he'd managed to score at the end of that run.
macca81625
i voted fellaini, although it was close between him an heitinga. Couldn't call it but for me his strength and ability on the ball today when played slightly different than recent weeks, was there for all to see. What i will say though, heitinga played and we kept another clean sheet.
StevO
Osman was like a scouse Xavi today, was brilliant! Just what we needed for next Saturday. Shame Pienaar is cup tied, his link up play with everyone was immense.
marcopaulo
just went for pienaar...osman was very close..as were johnny and felli..
Zoo
Vote added. Who voted for Roysten Drenthe? For all he did OK when he came on he must have only been on the field for around 25 minutes and didn't add what the likes of Osman, Pienaar and Heitinga did. I'd be surprised if anyone can justify him getting a vote over the players that started (and finished) the game today.
StevO
i wouldnt give him my vote, but didnt we score three goals with his contribution?
Zoo
i wouldnt give him my vote, but didnt we score three goals with his contribution? Not sure 100%. The fourth goal came from a Pienaar pass after he had got round two Sunderland defenders on the wing and hooked it back for Big Vic to smash home. He could well have been involved in the two goals however that came after Gueye's. I'm not slagging Royston off at all I'm just confused as to how he has been given the MOTM award over the likes of Leon and Steven who were quality today. pete0
i wouldnt give him my vote, but didnt we score three goals with his contribution? Gueye got a goal and 2 assists, Osman still pips him for MOTM imo though, with Pienaar a close third.
Dalziel Kane
Just realized I've never actually voted for anyone properly, I mean at the top of the page, I've always just mentioned a name as to who should be man of the match. Anyway, saw the highlights earlier and went with Pienaar before the show and after a viewing, have not changed by mind. Done the vote properly this time and went with the South African, he was very impressive today, wish we had him involved at the weekend. The Beard
Osman edged it, but only just, for me. Nice to see the side playing with confidence, the all round move for Pienaars goal was excellent. Jagielkas ball to Straq, superb first touch to keep the ball moving then two crisp passes to get the ball across the box for Pienaar to fire home, great move. Where has the football from the last month been all season?

DonKey
Pienaar, Ossie, Heitinga, Gueye and Felli for me in that order.
pete0
Gueye(44), Osman(42), and Pienaar(37) all got in the EA sports ppi team of the week, that premierleague.com use to base their bonus points. Gueye third top performer after Aguero and Maxi. We'd be 12th in the league based on the index
