This was Timmy's to lose. And then he lost it. He commanded the box very well and stopped the shots thrown his way...until he let in the softie.

I thought Pienaar did some great things. Put in the ball that Shawcross headed in, made a great run and through ball that should have resulted in an Osman goal, and made a few other very good runs with the ball. I'll give it to him, though that's more of a reflection of how mediocre the rest of the team was.

Of course we were (or could have), it was a winnable fixture most certainly, but once again we didn't quite utilize our capabilities today and what we have, while not too bad a result on paper, seems another lacklustre performance.

No Everton player scored today of all things, we only got a result so to speak through an opposition player, and all that I can ascertain is no-one really deserved any man of the match honors, there was no standout individual, so it would be totally disingenuous to select a player I feel didn't warrant a win, and as stated, no man today was really fitting for such an award. We have the right to vote, but on this day, can't quite bring myself to name any players.

Fellaini still way out in front and untouchable hitherto this season, despite todays nonsense.
