MikeO
Didn't see this posted anywhere.. Pretty exciting article.. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2161748-everton-should-be-americas-de-facto-favorite-team-in-2014-premier-league-season Didn't like this bit much . "So what does all this have to do with a cash-strapped mid-table club that's second fiddle in its own city.."
Paddock
Apparently we played Fleetwood behind closed doors today and were 5-0 up after 55 mins and Atsu scored 2. That's alls I know tbh and read that elsewhere. According to what I read, Mirallas, Lukaku and a lot of other first team players all played . markjazzbassist
Makes sense, RM must be doing this for the Europa league, great idea.
Romey 1878
Makes sense, RM must be doing this for the Europa league, great idea. Think it's more to do with so many of our players not being anywhere near being match fit tbh. I'm not sure how it would relate to the Europa League? Romey 1878
Playing twice a week and getting used to it. Perhaps but I do think it's more likely to be about a lack of match fitness for some of our players.
Romey 1878
In case we draw Fleetwood in the group stage of course . I was wondering whether he thought Fleetwood might be a foreign side and we were trying to gain experience in that way .

Paddock
Playing twice a week and getting used to it. We'll have plenty of opportunities to get used to that Mark, we'll burn out quickly if we start now mate.
