storm Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 "Napoli face stiff competition from clubs such as Everton and Fulham in the race for the attacker's services though. Perisic's current contract with Brugge runs until the summer of 2015, meaning that he won't be available on the cheap." Well thats us out the running then! Quote
Louis Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2011/01/10/2298716/exclusive-edinson-cavani-eager-to-stay-with-napoli-club/ Highly rated youngster Ivan Perisic could be on his way out of Belgian powerhouse Club Brugge as ambitious Serie A side Napoli have shown an interest in signing the attacker, if a report in Il Sussidiario is to be believed. The Partenopei are eager to add some more depth to their front line in the January transfer window and head coach Walter Mazzarri supposedly considers the 21-year-old Perisic to be the perfect addition to his ranks. The versatile attacker came through the ranks of the Hajduk Split youth academy and also wore the jerseys of Sochaux and Roeselare before signing for Club Brugge in the summer of 2009. Perisic has since developed into a key player at Blauw-Zwart and his good performances haven't gone unnoticed elsewhere. Napoli face stiff competition from clubs such as Everton and Fulham in the race for the attacker's services though. Quote

Matt Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 he looked very handy against Brazil but cant say Ive noticed him when watching the Bundesliga. Quote
Lowensda Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 Very, very similar to Mirallas to be fair. Inconsistent, game changer on their day. Got height and build going for him, as a winger/attacking mid. About the same temperament as Kev too, as long as they get on, they'll be fine. If not, they'll end up kicking seven bells of shite out of each other. Quote
Steve_E Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 He won the Player of the Year award in Belgium a couple of years back when he scored more than 20 goals in the league as a left winger. Can't say how he's done since other than that he moved to Dortmund where he scored 7 goals in his first season, then moved on to Wolfsburg where he scored 10 goals this season. I liked him when he played in Belgium though. Quote
Mirallas Posted June 16, 2014 Report Posted June 16, 2014 He is a great technical and physical footballer, pretty good attitude too, but not so great with systems and tactics. The guy used to play in the Belgian second division as a youngster which isn't exactly the same kind of training as you get at La Masia or the better English youth academies. But he's a great talent. efc1111 Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 He's just made a nice assist from the inside right position to set up Olic for Croatia's opener against Cameroon tonight. Olic turned immediately after scoring to point to him and thank him for the pass. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted June 18, 2014 Author Report Posted June 18, 2014 Just scored a fantastic goal. Quote

Makis Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Stupid clickbait rumour. Perisic wants to join Inter and the deal is more or less decided. Someone really think he'd change that (CL football, change to win trophies, nicer weather) for a chance to play for Everton? Quote
Lowensda Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Yeah, he's all but gone, hence the Shaqiri exit. Quote
