I really rate ossie, I think hes a class little player, and RS i know have changed their opinions of him since seing him.

 

I can't see him gettin into the starting 11 but I think on the form hes shown he should be in the squad.

Dont get me wrong I like Ossie, I think he's a good little player for us but he's jsut not good enough to oust any member of the England midfield

Agreed. Good player, but i feel the size of him and j=his weight lets him down tbh. But yeh good player i like him but no good enough!

Its his lack of any pace that lets him down. A good little player and i like him, but if i was manager of England, he wouldnt be in my squad.

I think Ossie is a great player, def the most underrated player at Everton. I would think he should be on the finges of the England squad but hes never going to oust Lampard or Gerrard from their spot

The biggest thing that lets Ossie down is his stature, and I am afraid he can't do anything about - his ability in a bigger frame would make him a very good player, perhaps a excellent player and indeed pushing for a England call up.

 

But I am afraid a good big'n is always going to be better than a good littl'n.

I can't agree with you on this one Rob. i have'nt seen that many good Big'uns, but i've seen lots of good little'uns. I think its just a lack of pace that lets him down.

 

 

And you would never say that to Bobby Collins or Alan Ball, and remain standing for long.

thing is if the first teamers are lets say all out injured he gets the nod, i know what you mean but i think ossie should take jenas's place, training with england will only encourage him more to play even better and hopefully break into the team as hard as that would be like.
