Gordon did well, it’s great to see but Rafa has said he needs to work on fitness so I assume that’s why he hasn’t started. Davies has had chances and I don’t think he, Gomes or Delph would have done anything better in that first half. Holgate despite being a dickhead was atleast getting into the back of the striker and picking up his man where as Keane gave them 5 yards nearly every time - his role in the offside goal was pathetic and was walked past in the second half as well. The disappointing part is we played dog shit but the goals they scored were a corner and a gift. Ive just watched the first half again and the Godfrey mistake gets worse. He could have rolled it for Holgate to clear easily. Iwobi wasn’t in the game at all and despite scoring the goal eventually shouldn’t have stayed on.
