From the Daily Mirror....

“Saha’s scoring record against West Ham was in my mind,” admitted Moyes. “He has got a calf strain and probably should not have been playing.”

Looks like he took a chance with a break coming up but he (Saha) might have aggrevated it.

At the moment I'm hard pressed to believe that these gross numbers of injuries is coincidence. There is no way that coincidence or just bad luck leaves us with 3 major knee injuries (not counting bad tackles), multiple calf strains, some groin issues and all the other "nicks" our players have. Something in the physio room and training needs to change.

I'm really starting to beleve the idea that all these injuries are a little more than bad luck. Sure there are now 2 or 3 that were not preventable, but having seen well over half our squad get one of 2 injuries, a hamstring strain/tear or a knee problem, I've really got to believe that the fault lies with Mick Rathbone. No other club has had the injury turn over we have; calling it bad luck is a cop out.

 How could it possibly be Mick Rathbones fault? Until the player is injured Mick Rathbone wont have any kind of involvement with them at all.

The ManU medical staff giving Sir Alec a detailed prognosis on Ferdinand...

"We gave Rio an injection just over two weeks ago so we have to let that settle for a week, then he can go back into the gym work and do some more core work," said Ferguson.

"We are just hoping that pain goes away."

there is a rumour coming from a bbc radio merseyside sports presenter that artetas ligaments a not knitting back together like normal, hence the additional recovery time, but the club and his specialist are starting to worry that they may never repair correctly and his career is over.
