I don't doubt that (although luck would do it also, a totally injury free season would be enough for us to do it next year with our current squad imo...no chance of that though). I just disagree that "another club" spending £50m would unquestionably put them ahead of us. That's only two Lescott's, it would need to be spent wisely....I think if DM had £50m to spend we'd challenge the top two.

Have you seen it? Incredible....I've been playing with it half the day. Looked at the house I was born in, had a stroll round Goodison, my next-door neighbour was immortalised outside his house, looked at my bro-in law's place in Amsterdam (had a quick look for the "windows" but they've not gone there ). Even my in-laws house, which is on its own 400 yards down a farm track, is there. It's an incredible project...few privacy issues I'd have thought....but impressive.

Benfica in trouble....French teams performing well. Lyon yesterday, Marseilles and Lille tonight. Sporting finish with nine men but still get a draw in Madrid...what a missed opportunity for us . Fulham put us to shame with their performance at Juve....lost 3-1 but at least they had a go (and they're not out of it). My money's on Hamburg .

Do you have this sort of problem in real life Mark ? It was certainly a short lived relationship .

It was...it's just so bloody frustrating that we took that United side apart while they're so all powerful in Europe and we just keep blowing it . Experience I guess. Fair play to Lyon though....great result. Final's at the Bernabau this year....what a shame. Perhaps Real need to spend some more money .
