  1. Fitness tests for Jacobsen & Ossie. Hibbo out. >>>OS<<<
  2. With Kenwright still seeking a buyer for Everton, and a decision not expected on the proposed stadium move to Kirkby until later this year, Moyes admits this close season could mirror the events of 12 months ago. "I would like to think it will be a busy summer in the transfer market but I am worried it will not be," he said . "I've had a look and have got an idea of what I would like to do, but I need to wait and see what finances are made available." Worrying. Not what we need!
  3. Another straw, for those of us clutching at them. Chang is giving away a pair of tickets, just register on their site HERE. Anyone winning after reading this is honour bound to take me with them !
  4. Best of luck with it, hope you're successful. Lost my local club in 1974...very sad.
  5. That settles it....the new stadium needs to be in the city centre. Kirkby's L32 .
  6. When's he going? I'm in Madrid next month and planning a trip to the Bernabau so I could have a quiet word with Ramos if you like .
  7. Excellent read again Jamie. You're doing a grand job!
  8. Nothing new....though I can't remember any of the men in black who screwed Everton ever fearing for their lives . Roll of shame.... Clive Thomas..."A poll in the Times newspaper recently rated his decision in the 1977 Everton v Liverpool game and subsequent refusal to discuss it, as the most suspect refereeing incident of all time." Pierluigi Collina..."The Italian referee joins Clive Thomas in the Goodison hall of infamy after disallowing Duncan Ferguson's 80th-minute header for an infringement by Marcus Bent that only the folicallychallenged official managed to spot." Cost us minimally £10m, possibly a lot more. Clattenburg (spit)...Moyes, "Decisions happen, that's football. But in the last seconds there's the chance for it to be corrected and it would've been a result we deserved. We deserved that penalty and if the other penalties were more blatant than that, then I am in the wrong game. I seem to see football differently. If the ref doesn't see that you ask why."
  9. Jags is a cert for the big one, could be close between Felli, Rodwell and Gosling for young player but I've gone for Jags and Marouane also. Ossie's goal against Macclesfield was the best for me, though it's trailing badly....think if he'd scored it against Liverpool or Manure it'd be doing much better . Goslings goal will probably win.
  10. Very strong album....like it a lot. Last three tracks (What If, Gone Away & Life Left to Go) are particularly good.
  11. Bit of hope for him from the beeb... "Uefa will receive the referee's report on Wednesday. In theory, he can say in the report that he made a mistake and Fletcher should not have been sent off." "Normally that would only happen with a case of mistaken identity but Uefa says he would be able to admit the error, so Fletcher will only know for definite if he is suspended from the final when the referee submits his match report."
  12. Ridiculous that there's no process to appeal. "Guilty even if proven innocent." Nice one.
  13. The five they conceded at Old Trafford aside they've conceded only five in their last ten games. I wouldn't describe that as poor form .
  14. Very poor goalkeeping. Was looking forward to this and it was over after ten minutes <_< . I'd love to slap Ronaldo's smug arrogant obnoxious ugly cheating face. I hate that man.
  15. Killed (at the highest estimate) up to one in twenty of the population of the planet (and more than double the amount of people killed in WW1) so it was bound to grab a few famous faces. Got Egon Schiele and Harold Gilman as well, two other great artists. Wife loves Klimt, we have a couple of prints on the walls of O towers .
  16. Take your point; following that through then should we just give one point for MOTM and nothing for anyone else? Trouble is that Felli has got (as Taxi said) most MOTM's so he'd win under that system, and I don't think there's many on here who think that'd be the right result. Giving 2 and 1 points for games like Sunday's seems open to the "voting for favourites" that everyone hates. Couple of people giving a daft vote for (say) Saha and he's on the podium . And again, I've not added it up, but I suspect that Fellaini would be ahead under that system as well.
  17. Again, if anyone can come up with a plan then let's hear it. 3-2-1 points for the top three, which we used to use and has been suggested again, is wrong for a couple of reasons in my view. First, it wouldn't be enough reward for truly stand out performances like Pienaar's, which you do get with the current system. Second, MOTM in a dire performance (Wigan away for example) would get the same points as MOTM in (say) the semi against United. That can't be right surely? Take your point Taxi but that's not going to happen, unless maybe it was on May 30th and he scored the winner after a stellar performance (in which case you could argue he deserves player of the season as his contribution [to the season] would be remembered long after everyone elses). Ultimately, this year, the winner will be the person whose name has been clicked most often by TT members.....so if we get a joke result we only have ourselves to blame .
  18. That's a big birthday mate! Hope you have a great day.....doing anything special?
  19. Couple of dates up your way at the end of the month... 22nd May - Liverpool, England - Writing On The Wall Festival. 23rd May - Manchester, England - Strummercamp.
  20. Excellent....shame it wasn't a tenner!
  21. Voted for him with 20mins of the game to go .
  22. Still got it, it's gone once or twice but try another channel and switch back and you should be OK. 2-0. Should be a stroll now.
