Not great but I've seen worse, some nice work down the left (as usual). Sunderland are no threat at all though I don't think. Step it up a bit and we should be OK.

Nash, Castillo, Saha, Vaughan, Rodwell, Agard and Wallace on the bench.
Leon gets a rest .

Luke Nicoli, NOTW....
"Everton boss David Moyes is in the box seat. The Goodison club have money to burn following their FA Cup run and the promise of European football next season."
Really? Highly informed piece of quality journalism as we should always expect from his employers .
If we sign him I think we should make a cheeky bid for the lad who got Dundee United's late winner today, I think they could fit together nicely. David Goodwillie is his name :smile_anim: .
"...the new retail arrangement for Everton includes a sports marketing agreement of up to five years with Le Coq Sportif."
No specific length put to it . "Up to five years" presumably means we can change if something better comes along.
Signed before they became minted I think ? They were a less attracive proposition than us.
Suggests (to me) that it must be £3m a year. Inconceivable that it isn't surely.
Having been at Goodison for the reverse fixture I just can't see Sunderland being any sort of threat at all, they were very poor even though they were supposedly on a good run of form at the time.
I'd go along with Martyn's team, think that'll be good enough for a 2-0.
Edit: Relax, it's in the bag, Lawrensen's gone for Sunderland .
Sunderland v Everton (1600 BST)
Sunderland really came up short against West Brom last week, which was a game they would have targeted to secure their safety. I'm sure Ricky Sbragia will have them fired up to make sure they compete here.
Everton have come a long way this season, played really well at times and still have the FA Cup final to look forward to, but I think one or two of them may have taken their eye off the ball.
Verdict: 2-1
He also thinks that Villa, "...have broken the back of that awful run of form they were going through" (when did they do that....in terms of results?) so that's put the curse on them.
Dubious personally....however, we signed a supposedly knackered striker whose best days were long gone once before. Desperation a lot of us thought (me included I have to say). That was Andy Gray .
You're in roughly the right time slot Jim, but the one I'm looking for started ten years after Jim'll Fix It, and ran for another nine years after Savile was cancelled.
OK....here's my attempt.
