That'd be a neat trick .
I fear you're right though Jamie (apart from that bit^^^ ), shame to see Hull go down after such a great start but I think it's likely.
Going to be winner take all at Reading next Sunday, home to Birmingham and they've just won at Norwich to put themselves three points behind with a better GD. If they draw Sheffield United could nick second place .
Fixture computer strikes again!
What's to say Mikel wouldn't have won had he stayed fit? Or Yak? Or VDM ?
Have to take the season as a whole, you can't go handing out awards willy-nilly to people who've only played, say, twelve games all season can you? Oh, wait a minute..... .
Played a blinder against Wigan after a two week break. Also topped player of the season table until the beginning of November.
The clues are there. If he's fresh he's worth his place, knackered he ain't.
Are we talking TV show or stage show Jim (momentarily thought I was onto something with Pontius Pilate from Godspell or JC Superstar but they're 70's)?
TV shows all I can come up with is Ready Steady Go!
Stunning ending, never seen anything like it so late in a fight. The fact that Taylor had no complaints about being stopped fourteen seconds from a win says it all.
Not the point though dark. It's cheap bottom shelf TV, I'm not doubting that some find it entertaining but BAFTA should be about excellence....top end stuff...not ephemeral tat.
Couldn't agree more Jim.
Incidentally, the executive producer (one of the named winners) of best single drama last night, "White Girl" was Greg Brenman. He's my father-in-law's cousin .
That's a good spot. Looks like it's a black shirt that's had the pink superimposed on it, where the shirt's not flat the lines still are.
Could still be a genuine mock-up, but certainly it's not what it appears to be.
Harry Hill!? BAFTA!? Again!? WTF!?
I know a lot of people think he's funny (find toothache funnier personally) but how in the world does he keep getting awards for a clip show?!
At least he seems to realise how ridiculous it is, said as much in his acceptance. No audience, canned laughter, cheapest bargain basement schedule filling TV. Absurd.
Joey's not had a run since his injury, four games for him to re-establish his partnership with Lescott and I don't think we'll go to Wembley any weaker for the change. We're blessed with three center backs of real quality, not a problem particularly as the two of them kept a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge last week seeing off the Premier's top scorer (Anelka) to such an extent that he was subbed after an hour.
Don't think anyone would argue with giving Osman a break, the last time he had some time off (international break) he came back and played an absolute blinder against Wigan....that Leon would be a huge asset at Wembley .
