What a childish bunch of absolute tossers some of you folks on here can be sometimes.
"It wasn't me ...it was him!" etc etc.
What does it matter whether someone wants to read a forum post or not? Why the fcuk should it bother you anyway?
If you don't want to read it.....don't! Simple really.
I havn't been a Moyes fan for a number of years and don't care how he gets on at Manure except that I'd really like to see him fcuk up bigtime.(So I wanted to read these posts)
Nothing personal you understand but a Utd side in disarray or playing less than best can only be a bonus for Everton FC as it could take prospective opposition out of the picture for CL places......and for no other reason.
So please, you self-righteous gits get off peoples backs who just want to read posts and enjoy the forum.
Some of you on here just seem to be getting off on slagging off anyone who disagrees with your point of view.
    FFS....grow up!

Can anyone give me one good, solid reason why Neville still starts in the team?

Forget the true professional, good reliable old soldier,' valuable on his day' crap and tell me why he is in the team NOW.
Phil is at best a passenger, in some cases a liability especially when he chooses the sideways or backpass options instead of going forward. His 5 yard passes are perfect (so are mine), but after that........And he doesn't tackle!
And what's with the 'floating' crosses? Get some pace on the ball to at least give the forwards some momentum on the header that they don't have to generate themselves every time. And get the cross to the penalty spot at least. A 'floater' to the edge of the box is oppostion meat and drink as is so often proved.

Someone said eons ago that Neville must be Moyes' love-child to be able to get in the side...and here we are all still wondering every week how it happens.
Can any Neville-ites go into bat for him and deny any of the above?

I've been saying the same thing all season.....good to be right once in a while , providing what was said is true.....no reason to disbelieve it but I'm a amazed at what analysis and recordings are being kept. I salute them. In the same breath you have to reckon that Moyes gets similar or superior analysis also but has done nothing to change the situation.
    Why?

This is of course the fallacy in the argument. If you gave a point for every finish in the Prem since it's inception (ie 20pts for 1st place down to 1pt for 20th) we'd still be 7th. The fallacy is that the table given is really only an indication that the longer you are in the Prem the higher you'll be.
In fact we are the 7th most successful club in the Prem because we are the worst performers of all those that havn't been relegated. End of story!

I think that says it all really.
Thanks Moyesey for getting us out of the shit but now we want to get the shit off our boots and start climbing the ladder to get out of the hole! Unfortunately I don't think you have the knowledge to do it, otherwise it would have been blindingly obvious by now. What is obvious is that we have hardly progressed at all in the last 8/9 years, still playing the same old football that has become so predictable that Oldham gave us cause for concern and the Prem teams know how to hold us off because we have no teeth up front and a defence that appears to be asleep for the first and last few minutes of every game we play.
Sorry to keep having to say this, but 'I told you so'. For years I've been saying 'If we don't do something about this now, we'll still be talking about it this time next season........and we still are!
Please Moyesey give us a break and find somewhere else.......soon.
I guarantee if we don't win the cup, he'll be gone in a twinkle anyway!

Great player....would be an advantage to any team. But is the man the right one? Too much of a troublemaker for my liking.
However, we won't need to worry too much because we couldn't stump up the wages.
He'll go to where the money is....too obvious for words.

Lot of good constructive stuff on this subject.
Go away you 'Jelly's crap' people. Players just don't turn crap overnight you titheads. This is all about lack of service and the fact that Fellaini plays too far forward attracting high balls from defenders who often have no other option because the midfielders are hiding. Watch how many times a midfielder will not move into a space where the ball-carrier can see him. Defenders then hoof it and midfielders who have the ball are forced into holding it too long and running into trouble (ie Naismith, Peanuts and Osman).
Fellaini won't work enough except for himself and since about October has done f-all because he is so tightly marked......a one-trick pony! Did we miss him when he was banned? Arguably we played the best football of the season at that time.
Moyes must get midfield to play for the team and move around FFS. Get midfield up the park doing what they are supposed to do, give the ball-carrier options and allow the forwards to get some ball. And allow Jelly and Anichebe to be poachers and/or goalscorers and not have to run their arses off (a la Moyes' workhorses) out on the wings to get a touch of the ball!

Honestly, I think Moyes is thinking, "I've has 10 years here with an 8/10 and not likely to get better".
If he gets us to CL, I think he'll stay...if not he has to move on, just for his own peace of mind (ie "can I do more elsewhere?")
I voted neutral on the subject, last season I would have voted for him to go. I've mellowed a little and Moyes has learned a little, but not enough for both of us to be ever truely happy .

Felli playing too far forward. Ossie playing too deep. Peanuts playing too central, Naismith playing in England. And the defence won't pass to neville because he loses possesion so we end up with this horredous long ball stuff. He can't score if nobody gives him the ball in the right place.

Another lost 2 points against opposition we should belt past. Sorry, we didn't lose points...we just really never wanted them. They were there for the taking and we let many opportunuties go by.
Why is Neville still allowed on the pitch? FFS! I missed the first 20 mins of the game, but of the rest he made his first tackle in extra time FFS! Mostly he just stood around and pointed and made obvious passes that I could have made even at my OAP age!
Too disappointed to say more...except that I was shitting myself in the last 10 mins because I thought Swansea could score...THEN I'd....Aaaaaargh!

Even Timmy said in effect that you have to admit to yourself that the boat has sailed.
Love him in a manly way if we must, but FFS realise that when he left he was at least a season past his best. I prefer to remember him as he was.....see Paul McCartney if you need any further proof.
Thanks Timmy, you are IMO a true Evertonian, welcome at Goodison at any time. Take the applause........but leave your boots at home:)

Thanks for asking MikeO. It was the best....good to be back at Goodison again after so long. I'd really forgotten how crap the Lower Bullens Rd stand is....missed half the derby game because of pillars, low roof and couldn't see the screens either.
Great atmosphere though, I was right next to the away supporters and they were great for the most part except for the odd twat.....older blokes too they were (probably pissed before they got there). At least I didn't get wet! My missus wasn't overly impressed with the whole thing though. She's Aussie (poor thing) and just didn't get it at all. She keeps trying to get me to change support to another team so I don't get so grumpy....as if!
Generally the weather was crap, wet and/or cold....was glad to get home really. 5 weeks away and living out of suitcases doesn't promote harmonious relationships with ones other half. But I wouldn't have missed it for the world!
    COYB!

I wonder what some of you folks are smoking?
Heitinga is a class act and World Cup finalist FFS! He has somehow fallen out of favour with Moyes but that doesn't change his ability and the fact that he should be an integral part of the future of the club in any other circumstance.
Sounds as if some folks on here would just let him go.... also, is it just too much to wonder why he's out of favour? Beats the shit out of me I must confess. If anyone has any real ideas I'd like to read 'em
The bloke was a hero not too many moons ago when he gave a certain penalty-taker a bit of a hurry-up on his way to the spot! Worked wonders too!
We spoke about attitude and true-blue and all that sort of stuff.......amazing what a couple of wins at the start of a new season will do to some peeps memories.
    Heitinga needs to stay!
