1. this is not a time for sentiment. think of it as a mercy killing!
2. Cahill Is An Unbelievable Talent.... I know i dont believe it!
3. not much will happen now until the world cup is over. for england that may be quite soon.
4. cahill only scored about 6 goals for us all season. then he gets 2 in one match at the world cup! i dont know whether to pat him on the back or kick his arse!
5. someone forgot tell yobo he had left the club!
6. We all know deep down that he had NOTHING to do with that transfer and that it was all stewed up by the EFC board - even down to the timing so that we could keep the banks happy and not the team...(bank was knocking on the door). I DONT BELIEVE THAT FOR ONE MOMENT! he knew that big clubs wanted him, he didnt like taking advice from his manager about the stupid behaviour in his private life, and he took off for the money. no doubt he got plenty of encouragement from his new agent, he fired the old one. like a lot of youngsters in his position its hard to resist the lure of ca$h, and the chance to prove to your old boss that your bigger than him and the club. we were well rid of the obnoxious little poo, and the money bailed us out of a difficult situation.
7. Van der Meyde denies exit report http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ton/5068652.stm Van der Meyde has made only seven league starts for Everton Everton winger Andy van der Meyde has insisted he is happy to stay at the club and fight for his place. There were reports the 26-year-old was seeking a move to Italy after making only seven league starts last season. But the Dutch international told Everton's website: "I love it here. Everything suits my game. Why would I want to go back to Italy? "I'm happy in England. I want to show I can really play football. If I get the chance next season, I'll do it." The Dutch star has been plagued with injuries since his £2m move from Inter Milan in August 2005 and has failed to live up to his exciting reputation. He was also omitted from Holland's World Cup squad after previously being a regular. Everton have bought striker Andrew Johnson and defender Joleon Lescott to strengthen their squad, but Van der Meyde believes he can find a role in the team. He added: "The gaffer has been great and I just want to do what I enjoy most now and that is play football. I want to do it for Everton."
8. agreed. if we get 9 mill for cahill its like winning the lottery. especially if scholes is included. we should get manu to include howard, before sir alex regains his sanity!
9. Anyone Got A New Shirt? yeah. i got one. its white, button down collar, long sleeves and it only cost a fiver!
10. no deal on the website. tbh i think he's championship standard, if we could get a good price!
11. i read somthing about cahill going for 9mil to manu. he's a journeyman. he's ok; but he simply is not that good!
12. "Everton boss David Moyes is planning to sign more players after the World Cup following the arrivals of Andrew Johnson and Joleon Lescott at Goodison Park for next season. England striker Johnson, who was on stand-by for the World Cup in Germany, was bought for £8.6million from Crystal Palace, while the deal to bring Lescott from Wolves could be worth £5million eventually. Moyes is planning to bolster his squad further as he looks to improve on the club's 11th-placed finish in the Barclays Premiership last season, although the Scot admits the players will not be in the same price range as Johnson and Lescott." http://www.sportinglife.com/football/premi...&TEAMHD=Everton
13. hiddinck realises that they have no chance of beating brazil. to qualify the must beat croatia. not easy, but cerainly do-able.
14. if weve got tescos on board i expect to see a change of sponsorship and maybe a little more cash coming in, especially if they have a guy on the board. they will want to be associated with a successful club and theyve got the cash to create that success. we live in interesting times!
15. dunno whether to pat him on the back or kick him up the arse!
16. what about australia v japan. oz 1-0 down, five minutes to go then, bang, bang, bang. 2 from tim and 1 from .... whoever! he only scored about six for us all season and he gets 2 in a world cup match!
17. "we've got him". to paraphrase that stupid american in iraq! he must be in good nick because he's had his knees inspected more closely than ms worlds'. with bt and aj upfront and a stronger defence next season could be a good one.
18. howard lets in 3 against the czechs. ok, he's only played one game and i didnt see it, but...? meanwhile cahill scores twice for the aussies -- in one game. he only got about 6 for us in a whole season.
19. MOYES TOLD HE HAS SCOT TO CASH IN By Alan Nixon THE PEOPLE. Everton boss David Moyes is ready to off-load Scottish pair James McFadden and Gary Naysmith - to raise cash for new signings. Striker McFadden has not agreed new terms on his Good is on Pa rk contract and could be shipped out, with both Celtic and Rangers watching developments. Moyes would like to keep him but may be tempted to sell, especially if Celtic's Stilian Petrov was involved in any deal - and at the right price. Naysmith was Everton's first-choice left-back at the end of the season, but could also be allowed to go if a decent offer comes in. Everton have spent their transfer kitty on Andy Johnson and are close to agreeing a revised bid for Joleon Lescott with Wolves, so Moyes needs money for more wheeler-dealing. Meanwhile, Franny Jeffers is set for a shock return to Everton.
20. Everton duo James McFadden and Gary Naysmith could be offloaded in the summer to make way for new signings. (The People) what do you think?
21. WE ARE NOT AS GOOD AS ...spurs, or newcastle BULLSHIT! WE ARE DEFINITELY GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT BOTH OF THEM.
22. WELL DONE NIGE! A GREAT GOALIE AND A GREAT SPORTSMAN!
23. Says that Birmingham and West Brom have offered him deals and he is still thinking about if to stay at Everton or not. yeah, he wont be a first choice next season. time for him to go.
