I downloaded after seeing Shane Duffy mention it on Twitter. It's become a bane. Its sooo hard and frustrating but beautifully simple.

Anyone else watching Gerrie Nel (SA state prosecutor) rip Pistorius's story to shreds? As compelling as the OJ case was all those years ago. Hoping for a guilty verdict here. Pistorius's version just does not stack up. Nel is absolutely riveting.

Anyone on here recommend someone (reliable and not a rip off preferrably) to spray a patch of paint on the back of my car?

Opposite of what grinds your gears thread, so post anything thats upped your positivity or that you're just happy about in general. So basically a thread I can post in and not be a moaning Myrtle. Open to suggestions for the title (I couldnt remember the ones suggested in the shout box yesterday).
 
Any how, I had been struggling to get my head round a subject, so had a day away from revising it. Come back to it and it magically all makes sense. Dont know if its my brain subconsciously figuring it out or my head was just unable to think from tiredness, but I'm happy now either way.

The Poor Mouth by Irish satirical novelist Flann O'Brien, akin to James Joyce in prose.

Along those lines, you might check out "Empire of the Summer Moon" which traces the rise and fall of the Comanches (those mo-fos were wicked--they used to sew an animal skin around their enemies and leave them in the desert, hence the sun would slowly constrict the skin around them--but I digress), the story also documents how the Comanches kidnapped a white girl and brought her into the tribe; years later her mixed blood son, half comanche/half white Texan, went on to become the last great leader of the Comanches.

I really enjoyed that. Thought it was a really fascinating read.

My score on Flappy Bird is only 23 .

I just got around to watching this video today. It was really interesting. I think money ball is a natural way to go for all sports, but like was said in the video the problem is how exactly do you quantify your data into a system that is beneficial. It also made sense that Spurs seem to rival us for many players because we are 2 of the big analytical clubs in the league.

I get the impression that people are trying to take football down the 'Moneyball' route. Man City are releasing a batch of data today to the public and encouraging people to come up with their own equations for how to measure a successful player and build a successful team.
