I'd prefer an older proven coach. The young got shots doesn't always work out - Brenda, RM, laudrup, etc. with the likes of Flores ranieri pardew etc doing well id like someone like that. Biesla only one I can think of right now but I think the older guys are trying to prove their worth to te world they are just trying to win. Pride and stubbornness isn't as much of an issue.

That's the point. He spent big on Lukaku and has one of the most talented sides in the league. Barkley stones romelu Gerry baines Coleman these are players any side would love to have. And yet a tiny club with no money crystal palace is doing better with pardew. club watford doing better with Flores. Club Leicester with ranieri. Another in west ham with Bilic. None of those clubs have a better squad. We hands down should be better than all of them but are not. That's the issue haf. If we had ranieri or Flores maybe we'd be in a different position. Instead we've got centre backs at fullback, a shit goalie being played no matter what. And 2 wingers only to be seen on the park for 10' min while losing. It's managerial. Hate to say it but moyes would get more out of this squad. The defense is talented they just need a plan and organization. I don't want moyes back but at least we got clean sheets back then. Now every match is a fucking shootout. Id rather 1-0 any day over 4-3.

My reservation there is the same with Martinez. Will he be able to do what he's done with Bournemouth on a considerably larger budget with larger ego players? Watford hit the jackpot with Flores, has the pedigree but it didn't go well same with ranieri. Maybe a manager like that would be better than just the next up and comer.
