  1. Compensation owed will surely be less than 6-8m. Probably be better to hedge our bets if he already comes with attitude issues.
  2. good point mike, that might be the deciding factor. the next round draws i'm sure will be huge.
  3. surprised brenda isn't. i would think moyes thinks a club that small is beneath him. if he gets the job well see ayew in DCM and gomis as a left mid lol
  4. any idea when said contract ends? might be able to get him free in the summer.
  5. italians - europa - lazio and napoli already through, fiorentina through barring a disaster. champs - juve through, roma through. they have 5 of 6 still going. same amount of sides still left. also we had 8, so not looking good. 5 of 8 left, they have 5 of 6 left.
  6. not sure if that's real but it's funny as hell. and what an amazingly creative concept to beat the big guy.
  7. 6m? should be damn near free if they won't play him and he's not even in the team.
  8. yep bet your happy romey, Spurs Shite advnaced in Europa, Chelsea Arse Man City in Champs League. That's 5 out of 7 moving on in Europe. Probably good enough to keep the 4th spot eh?
  9. when your manager uses 1 sub a game you don't need a deep squad.
  10. Arse need to win by 3 goals to advance and Wenger puts 1 forward in the lineup, and 4 defenders on the bench without a forward. the man is mad.
  11. i wouldn't fault him or be mad in the least. get the 8m and call it even. great player on his day and hard worker, definately proved the critics wrong. best of luck to you stevie
  12. so is swansea even going to interview anyone or just call brenda? i wonder if he thinks he's above it? could be a spot for moyes but we all know he thinks he's above that club.
  13. same people who deny climate change. its this new belief system in the US where you just believe whatever you want regardless of fact. you loved the bush's and thought they were great even though he was voted worst president of all time and had the lowest approval rating of all time? no problem, he's now a great president and good man because what you believe is more important than fact or actual discourse. makes for difficult conversations because you're not arguing with reason now, you're just talking to people with opinion that isn't going to change no matter what fact, science, etc is brought into it.
  14. yes and no top players want to be at liverpool. do you see the likes of messi ronaldo toure etc wanting to go to liverpooL? feck no, they overpaid for Benteke and will continue to overpay on fee and wages because they're not a top club. it will be the same with united. paying wages out the yang just to get big players even though the players are just there for wages since they aren't winning anything anytime soon. we can compete with that no problem, we don't want mercenaries looking for a check anyways.
  15. yeah i wasn't speaking in modern france, more french revolution in the 1700's, the poor being tired of being poor and realizing they vastly outnumbered the rich. bam, revolution and overthrown. America is such a young country and people forget that, rome has been around forever and in many different variations, so they've learned a lot and passed that down, not perfect but it's decent. America is so new that we haven't learned from the crazy radicals yet, hence all the guns and NRA running the show politically. That doesn't happen in Europe because the people are sensible enough due to history. America doesn't have history. that's my thoughts on it. would love to move abroad, if a republican wins like Ted Cruz, Trump, etc. i may be forced to.
  16. Yeah Matt it's just another visible sign of America crumbling. In terms of history we've not been around that long and all the big countries who are around long enough have a revolution/civil war or something similar. Wages are being concentrated at the top, people getting poorer, eventually people will realize we vastly outnumber the rich and just say F this and it will be revolution. Simple math. Not sure if it will be in my lifetime but usually after an event the politics get more central based and less radical and then a few hundred years later it's the same thing all over again. Look at France.
  17. lol very true about the fans agaisnt europa. gonna see man united put some nice PR spin on that league now lol. i'm not saying you shouldn't root and i get why you do and it's cool no worries. i just have no sympathy and if it's 3 CL spots then fine, let's see who of the big boys gets knocked out and starts becoming a joke of a club because CL is gone and revenue and the next biggest stars don't give a shit about playing there now. i'm fine with that.
  18. there's a reason the spot is up for grabs, cause english teams suck in the champs league. little late to root for the clubs when for years arsenal is knocked out at the group stage or first knockout, same for man city, first year they're clearing the group stage in a long while. maybe english teams should take it more seriously just like other leagues take europa seriously. instead all about the cash and grab of TV revenue. well fuck it romey, other clubs care about continental honours and i do too. english clubs don't deserve it after the shit show they produce in recent years. at least everton gave it a go in europa (i'm looking at you west ham).
  19. agreed what a shitbox club and fans, they deserve to live like the rest of us, can't have the charmed SAF life forever. welcome back to the ground mid table man united. have fun in europa we will enjoy playing you when you tired from the travel.
  20. amazing isn't it mike? i could take the quote from your signature and just change Tory to Republican and it would be valid. Sad that bigots are so popular, absolutely gets me to the core that people like his viewpoints.
  21. i'm talking this year, when on loan he was 18 or 19 and never played first team anywhere really. we won't be buying a player like that in january to slot right into the first team.if we buy anyone for the first team they'll be a stud and be a starter and their quality should allow them to play well off the go. yarmolenko i would hope would show an impact immediately, 20m plus players do that. i suspect in january it will be mirallas, naisy, mcgeady gone, one person in for the first team, other players if any will be youngsters (byram, etc). with RM not using the bench this makes sense, we'd still have osman cleverley lennon galloway jags robles on the bench. maybe that money we make could be put to use in the summer with the standard 20m kitty to land us the GK, RB youngster, Striker, and Creative mid we need.
  22. would like to see more of that from him, he's too inconsistent, please prove me wrong tim.
  23. didn't take gerry or mori anytime this year. they slotted right in. quality players don't need a ton of adjustment to play well.
