so CONMEBOL is home and away 10 teams (18 matches) top 4.5 advance. CONCACAF is a 4 round tournament, where the first 2 rounds weed out the sides that didn't qualify for the last WC. Same concept could be used here and then broken down into groups to qualify ala UEFA. that way travel is only within the rounds and i'ts 6-8 matches. could work but you're right they'd have to work out the travel kinks.

honestly he's a decent manager, i don't like the style or him personally but he gets decent results. I don't think he will this time though. They are a shambles and just don't look talented or up for it. I can see them going down.

I respect you and your opinion and understand where you are coming from. For me the US is sorely lacking quality attacking players. This is why under Juergen we are crap against a decent side. Bob Bradley defend first and counter was good because we have athletes not technical players. I think a mou would play to our strengths. Honestly I like bob and would have him back, I'm in the minority most likely but he's done well in Egypt and Norway.
