  2. Sky reporting Klopp has signed. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11669/10021743/jurgen-klopp-agrees-to-become-new-liverpool-manager
  3. i can see january getting ridiculous. let's hope we hold the line again.
  4. good thing paddock left, he would've had a heart attack after seeing that.
  5. sadly neither do i. i backed JK for a long time, but now it's time for a change. really if you look at the international landscape the only managers that last after 1 cycle are WC/Euro/Confed/Other competition winners or have been in the past. Jogi Low, Del Bosque, etc. France, England, Italy, Holland, etc are all changing managers after 1 cycle and they are going farther and doing better than us. The argument agaisnt is that we aren't as good as them so the stability of JK helps us more. I get that but i think it's time for a change if we lose. I want a better coach though. I don't want Tab Ramos or some MLS guy. Honestly i hate the man but if Mourinho gets fired they should throw money at him.

  7. Exactly and 2+ years should be enough for the new coach to get a team qualified for the WC. A few months ago I would have told you we would easily win this game. Now I don't know.

  9. http://www.espnfc.us/confederations-cup-playoff/story/2650574/landon-donovan-klinsmann-should-go-if-us-loses-to-mexico no argument from me. i'm not a LD fan but i agree, this is win or be fired for Klinnsman. Put your money where your mouth is.
  10. yeah i thought it was a knock, i'm surprised he's been out this long.
  11. Yeah matt I agree mad max was wild. I loved the first 3 so this was enjoyable too. Going to see the Martian next week, I am cautiously optimistic.
  12. Guys the more I think about it I'm ok with it. Those pre Madonna pretty boys aren't going to gegen press and bust ass, they'll whine and he will bench them. Henderson will be fine, but I don't see sturridge coutinho lallana etc going all out. I think he will have a lot harder of a time because he won't have workhorse marathon runners as players. Also the prem is way more competitive than bundesliga team to team. And way more physical. I'm cautiously optimistic / trying to convince myself it will be pkay
  13. 4-5 episodes into a show called firefly that aired for one season. Main character is pretty funny and dry humor which I enjoy. After the season u think there is a movie as well. Sci fi nerd alert here, not sure if other people watch this stuff. Might give battlestar galactic a chance after this.
  14. good news from the 3 new employees. long may it continue.
  15. both. i think he knew ross would be the guy but wanted to take pressure of him. also i don't think we had the money. great point. let's hope those other teams start doing well in CL and not doing well in the prem, best case scenario for us
  16. yeah i agree. to be where we are in the table without baines, coleman, stones, cleverley, besic, garbutt is a pretty great feat. i'm hoping we can go on a nice run and get that 4th CL spot, it's up for grabs since chelsea is taking a dive.
  17. agreed bill im starting to think this was the plan. Jags would have this campaign and the Euros this summer, having a fresh and ready to go Mori will be a must for next campaign. Plus if we continue playing well we could be in Europa again next year.
  18. good thing we then turn into chelsea and start buying talent and having other teams loan them and pay their wages to groom them to either be in our first team or be sold for a profit. non issue for me.
  19. If the above article is true no way in hell klopp or ancelotti ends up there. They won't be having signing shoved at them without their approval. Do Matteo is a great shout, or maybe they can bring back Roy or dalglish. I've heard davie moyes isn't doing to well in Spain.
  20. I think that's more browning to blame. Galloway tries to pass and attack and link up. Browning just tries to get rid and get back the minute he has the ball. If anything Naisy should be on that side to Help him defend. For me having proper fullbacks the way we play could go a long ways to alleviating the pressure on the forwards and wingers.
  21. http://www.espnfc.us/barclays-premier-league/23/blog/post/2648265/brendan-rodgers-lack-of-experience-costly-at-liverpool Interesting that RM turned them down based on him running everything. Upon further reading when a shareholder is on the transfer board even a guy like me has to applaud bill kenwright on staying out of the way.
  22. Never said is drop him just that baines would be back. Once baines is in top form I would offer to send Galloway on loan (with chance to recall if we need him) to championship or lower prem side, that way he would still be getting first team minutes. He's great defensively no doubt but he can't attack and link up like baines and that is integral to our style of play. A fully healthy baines I would take, but until then you're right mike play the youngster. Coleman on the other hand comes back and slots in immediately, browning did fine but he is no rb. Stones I'm not sure about, Mori is doing decent but John is a class above I believe, he probably goes right back in.
  23. Yeah crazy story for sure. Great film.
