  1. "You don't see another player like him because you don't get that balance of physicality and technical ability. He is a diamond - the perfect player for this league."

Totally agree with that sentiment. There was a stage where he had two players on him and the ball was up for grabs, he just used his size and strength and came away with it.

yeah i'm really glad he had a good match yesterday, hopefully he gets more confident and keeps growing. every time he gets the ball i get excited.

  2. very happy with the win. loved seeing ross in the box to box role with besic, glad to see naisy back and scoring and glad to see kone come in and give it a go. stones on the bench, we could be back to close to full strength. very very sad about mirallas, he was really just starting to come alive.

  3. Anyone got a decent stream? Help me out pls I'm stuck listening to Phil fuckin Neville who is all of a sudden anti Everton big time! PM me pls?

yes me as well, strange. keeps banging on about QPR and how they are the better side, we just got lucky with deflections. what a turd.

  4. Talking of shite performances nobody has picked up on Coleman?! He's been shite]

i'll agree with that with one caveat, take off mcgeady and put someone on who will pass to coleman or allow him to run the flank and i think he will look better. he does seem to be in a funk lately though so who really knows whats going on.

  5. hes not shite, he's just easy to mark and defend against. He needs something else to make that leap from runner to effective winger.

he's not up to the task, is this another match fit fully fit? FFS shite not shite, easy to mark, he's not playing well and hasn't been and needs to be a bench or cup player that's that.

it pissed me off because he hinders and breaks down attacks and on top of it he really screws coleman. coleman doesn't ever see the ball when mcgeady has it on the right, we all know what seamus is able to do when he's on his day, i'd rather have someone who doesn't do anything amazing but is just able to play a role ala osman, pass do some defending and don't make monumental cock-ups every other play.

  6. You have to feel for Rodgers though. Having gone with Lallana who was not fit, his only options at half-time were Balotelli or Lambert. Both of them would have trouble getting in Tranmere's side.

Lol. Yeah Rodgers definitely up for the sack now. Are Houllier and Dalglish employed? Nah I bet it will be Rafa benitez again.

  7. Thanks for the update, mark.

I've been wondering about Green. I noticed he hasn't made the bench in awhile. Would've rather him stay at Bayern and at least use their training facilities if he's not getting any game time.

Yeah epic fail on that loan. He was subbed their first few games or so and then that coach was fired and the new coach hasn't even put him on the bench. I'm with you he should just go back to bayern.

  8. Dreadful grammar from 'arry, but a word for word quote from his press conference today.

"One of the very knowledgeable football people at Everton, you find they understand the game (like Liverpool supporters); I think that Merseyside is, for me, probably the most knowledgeable football fans I think in the country."

He's angling for the Liverpool job that clever arry!

  9. Bedoya with an assist today in Nantes win. Played the whole match. I wonder if Juergen will use him in more of a Box to Box role like he has at Nantes?

John Anthony Brooks played the whole match for Hertha Berlin as they beat Dortmund 1-0. Looks to have been one hell of a defensive job he did as well, Dortmund's shot chart looks like the final third was all colored in!

Geoff Cameron has re-established himself in the starting lineup for Stoke in midfield. Playing every match now that he's back from injury. I hope he's able to get a shot at that position with the national side.

Altidore played a little more than half the match, missed a sitter, etc. He started so that might be a good sign, you have to wonder how much longer he will play there.

Julian Green doesn't even know what the Hamburg bench looks like anymore, loan gone bad he's not even making the First team.

Danny Williams is back from injury and playing well for Reading in the midfield, he's one to watch now that he's getting regular game time in the Championship.

Tim Ream helped Bolton to a 0-0 draw to a high flying Ipswich Town side. I would like to see more of him with US, maybe start a match instead of the late subs in friendlies.

Emerson Hyndman was back to starting for Fulham and played the whole match beating Leeds 1-0.

Eric Lichaj trusty RB at Nottingham Forest helped them to a 0-0 draw. He doesn't perform well with the US unfortunately and his spell at Villa didn't go that well, but he's a great option at RB, plays week in and out in a decent league.

that should do it for americans playing today.
