They lost to PSG 2-1. Let’s hope we continue that streak for them.
Not to dampen your spirits but I've just read that Liverpool have never lost back to back games under Klopp...not sure how true this is mind.

I heard he has red Christmas ornaments
I expect to see the news headline "Ademola Lookman's house broken into and Christmas Tree torched by furious blues after red gaff" now!

Hope we can buy him. Fear he might be too pricey tho. Deffo worth more than 30 mil. Just don't know if Everton have the funds.
Defo got the funds to afford it, its the financing is the problem with FFP, we cant just spunk £50m on every player because of this. FFP is a waste of time anyway

Neither is Richarlison but we’ve been playing him as such.
Its just an idea. I’d rather we stick to our own formation than cater to the opposition of course.
See Richarlison can be for me, he is young enough and good enough to be a striker but I do see what you're saying, we are now at a point where we can play our formation to fit our football instead of catering to them for me too, its took its time to get there but hopefully this is what Moshiri wanted when he bought into Everton and provides Brands and silva with the ammunition to push this exciting phase forward.

sadly i will miss the derby. i will be attending a christmas brunch at the german cultural center with my extended family (side note, we are not german). it's a tradition we do every year. the kids meet santa, and we all eat a massive spread of food and drink a bunch of beers. breakfast always seems better when alcohol is involved
Stream it on your phone whilst bevvying and scranning!

Lookman Siggy Richarlison
Koeman line up that, swerve the square pegs in round holes. Sig isn'tt a striker nor should he be used as one.

I'm sure Brands said Barca did discuss a transfer but we couldn't afford it and refused a loan, they then softened up and let us loan him.

Is he above Morgan and Beni in the pecking order? Yeah. therefore they go first unless we are looking to make money which right now, we aren't.
Twitter rumour last night was him, Morgan and Niasse are all up for sale in Jan.

That gallop that he has is proper weird! legs flying everywhere when he hits full speed! Thought he had a bad start but then settled down and was solid. Its been a long time since ive seen a central defender get the ball and push forward the way he did, long may that continue!

I think I read somewhere that we have a pretty good relationship with Barca. Hopefully that will bode well in negotiations.
Seems like we do, seemed to of started when Martinez was manager here.

Peaky blinders, hell of a show here, on the 4th season now and my wife and I ave been holed up all holiday watching it. It’s addictive.
they filmed some of the new season outside my work a couple of months back.
I couldn't get into it me, got through 2 seasons and gave up.

As I've previously mentioned, his reported buy-out (every player in La Liga has one) is sitting at £80m. Barca will use the fact his buy out is high, he is on form and has taken to the prem like a duck to water to get a big fee from us, our problem wont be affording the deal but financing it due to FFP restrictions. I'd expect that should we strike a deal with Barca for him there will be a "buy-back" option just like with Gerry and Yerry, although im not sure they put one in with Digne.

I agree.
This is why I think it’s a head thing. There was a ball yesterday that he received in the centre of the pitch, without looking, and with all the time in the world... he played the ball out to the left wing.... to himself... or where he would have been.... but... he wasn’t there.
He needs to relax and slow down a bit.
Yeah I know the exact moment you are referring too, the language barrier will be a problem at the moment too but with time we will have a great player on our hands, he will be more of an inside forward in time I think.
-
With Henderson out they have abit of a midfield nightmare at the moment don't they? Milner injured, Hendo out, Kieta injured and the Ox a long term injury.
-
-
He lost his granddad over the last few days, might explain why he was abit off the pace recently. I thought something was up when he came off and Silva gave him a long embrace.
-
few things I took from that game:
we can win ugly if need be. wasn't the best game I've ever seen but a win non the less.
Gomes is unbelievable, easily the best central midfielder we've had in a long time.
Davies, Baines and Zouma having sprint races on the side line near the final whistle was brilliant, good to see the lads who didn't come on still going about with a smile on their face.
Richarlison needs to grow up asap, I love the lad but that play acting at the end was nobheadish. The keeper tapped him on the head like a little pat to say "oh you nearly got me then", a nothing gesture. Richarlison then starts rolling round pretending he has been smacked hard, been spending too much time with Neymar I think.

How many times did he rush himself back to play for Ireland against the clubs wishes and advice ?
I agree with Mark if we can get him fit we need to wrap him in cotton wool then sell to the first bidder
Its a shame because he was a quality player
You do realise if he refuses a call up and refuses to play he runs the risk of being banned from playing club football? It was Ireland calling him up when he was clearly unfit that ruined him for those seasons for me. His last injury was a freak accident that was no one's fault (swerve the Morgan shouts there).
I'd rather take the risk of keeping a quality midfielder and him getting injured again then selling him to a shite team for buttons and him shinning there. He is better than Morgan, Besic, Beni( still don't know what people see in him) and Davies so its a no brainer for me.

Unless you are Jewish, Muslim, or another religion no, Christmas is the biggest Over here. Thanksgiving would be second, New Years third, July 4th would be 4th.
other random holidays (sorry not sorry) Memorial Day (rememberance day you guys call I I believe) and Labor Day (thank you unions!!!). Other than that the rest most people don’t get off of work (Martin Luther king day, Veterans Day, Columbus Day, etc) so I don’t really count them.
Cheers buddy, the US and their ways fascinates me, hope you've enjoyed your turkey etc.
Also you're a bastard for that holiday shout

Sounds like injuries have got the best of him. I expect him to be sold come summer or maybe even January.
The rate he's going it will likely be released on a free. Still cant get over that volleying the floor video me.

All the best to the Americans on here.
Question, is Thanksgiving bigger than Christmas over there? (please don't call it "the holidays" I beg of you!)
