  1. Silva needs to have a word with Coleman, that's two games on the bounce he has stunk the place out, he is an expert on letting the ball come to him and roll under his foot.

Shocker of a game that though, only Zouma stood out as being any good. Holgate needs to practise his passing, he gave the ball away far too many times.

I knew it wasn't going to be a good day, almost got knocked over going into the ground, told the driver to fuck off, turned out it was Tony Bellew, not the best person to piss off!

  2. Enjoy your time at the grand old lady and welcome to TT.

I'm sure you'll find a ticket on Stubhub if you cant get one from the club. Might be worth while getting in touch with the club and saying you are a official member, you are travelling all the way from the US and A and don't want to miss the match for your 40th, they might hold a ticket for you.

I do understand the value of winning, and for sure you understand much better than I the frustration of so many years without silverware; nonetheless, the chance that we'll achieve our goal increases significantly when we put all else aside in an obsession to reach it. I'd rather we established a lasting legacy in the top four than a flash in the pan League Cup final win that, after more years of drought, will come to ring hollow.

going by that then should we finish outside the Europa League spots until we are good enough to finish 4th? The Europa would be a distraction from achieving 4th would it not? To attract the players who will get us to 4th and above, you need to be winning silverware, playing in European football etc. I'm sure the players we signed this summer have done so on the back of a promise that we will be back playing European football soon and challenging for trophies, which in turn will attract better players once those goals are completed.

Quite fitting Davies captained last night.

    From the OS,

Everton’s attendance for Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup tie with Rotherham United is the Club's highest in this stage of the competition for 50 years.

The 31,972 crowd at the Grand Old Lady is the biggest seen at a League Cup round two fixture on home soil since 1968.

That clash in the September of that year, watched by an attendance of 35,477, saw the Blues beat neighbours Tranmere Rovers 4-0, with the great Alan Ball on target alongside fellow Everton Giant Joe Royle.

Alan Whittle – the uncle of Tom Davies, captain for the night against Rotherham – rounded off the scoring with a brace.

flying round twitter that it was actually higher than that! the number was dropped so we don't have to share as much money with Rotherham! Not sure I believe that though.

What’s so great about starting in the Europa against some team in Kazakhstan? Look what happened the last two tunes we were in that competition without really being ready for it. It was a distraction and, most recently, am embarrassment. Let’s get there by finishing fifth.

Yes, I’d rather finish one position higher in the league and earn over &5 million more. I realize this is not a popular opinion, but I believe in focus and try to avoid distractions. Our goal is to finish in the top four: nothing should get in the way of that.

not only is it not a popular opinion it is what is wrong with modern football, choosing money over a cup. Its counted as a major honour in football, its the lesser of the FA Cup and League but is still an important trophy. For a club like us who haven't won anything since 1995 to over look it is foolish. Each to their own but for me beggars cant be choosers, a league cup win would be everything for me, for too long we haven't won a trophy. I've seen us win 1 in my life time, no where near enough.

They haven't seen it yet!

Good on him though, if he wants to use this loan to get back into his parent clubs first team then it can only benefit us, he is willing to put the performances in to show he is good enough. I cant see him making it back at Chelsea, they will buy someone before playing him again.

  7. Bad when a "top Ref" quits and then everyone presumes he's been noncing a dog too. Bobby Madley was shit but look at the abuse he has got online, that's going to discourage some from becoming refs and in turn stop a potentially a good ref. They are all shite in this country though, never consistent and show clear favouritism to some.

Not mine the man is the football whisperer he will turn them into worldies.  Did you see ateltico destroy his replacement in the super cup?  Also I don’t think zidane wants to manager them, I think he wants the French team or Marseille.

reports over here the last few weeks have him wanting it. He's far too big for Marseille. Its a strange one, where ever he ends up is a step down from Madrid now.
