Like most footballers he has a flaw, not really a criticism of him its more like pointing out a weakness and suggesting that your opinion of him is probably slightly higher than some of the rest of us think.
 
I do agree that his directness in attack is an asset on some occasions, but its also true that it is a weakness.
 
I actually think that technically Drenthe was a better player but he had far more issues that just being a bit greedy!

His consistency is his biggest downfall as pointed out above. Like Cornish said, consistency is a big part of quality. It's alright to be boss once every few weeks but nobody is ever going to consider him a real top quality player unless he does it more consistently.

Tbh I was never a fan of Neville being captain on the pitch. When shit hit the fan he was one of the first to hide.

Moyes steadied a sinking ship. Yes it was boring finishing 6th-7th every season but looks like we're up for that again. No progression yet. Early doors, I admit I like his enthusiasm and he seems to be going in the right direction but it's all so similar to Moyes. I ain't blowing the smoke yet.
 
The highlight of our season has been beating the worst United side in 20 years 1-0 and drawing away at Arsenal. Sad that Brett Angel.

I am yet to be convinced we are playing better under Martinez. It's just more possession across the back four and central midfielders.

Because it's an absolute joke of a decision and I could see it coming. Paying to nurse Monaco's injured player. I wouldn't mind but the lad looks an absolute waste of space.

I can't see him getting into their first team. I think he's at least 24 months away.

Pretty much this - you can't teach that either. The type of quality usually comes at a premium - rush and lineker forged a career out of it. I'm not comparing him to them, more saying that its something that is vital to a team.

No haven't been overly impressed with Jagielka of late but I think it's seriously early doors for Stones to be taking his place. Against a more ready attacking opposition I think Stones inexperience will be highlighted

How is it that finishing 6th last year was not an achievement as it was no more than you would expect with our squad and yet the squad has improved and suddenly 7th is an achievement ?
