I have absolutely no issue with Alli there. I would hope someone in our dressing room right now is acting like that after defeat where as Dier is just sitting there like he doesn’t give a shit and only fires up because someone calls the team out for not being good enough. Also Alli is bang on not to name 1 person, he said it’s the whole team, including himself. Dier is way off in that exchange in my opinion.

Can’t doubt his ability or talent - it’s the bit between the ears for Alli. If Lampard can influence him at all in this area we’ve got a decent player.

Christ we’ve not had a proper threatening striker since Lukaku - DCL still has some way to go but to sell him now would he madness… Alternatively we could try and build a team around our good players - it’s a crazy idea but it might just work.

Warming up to him for sure. As player he’s been at the very top and reached that level by being an outstanding progressional. I hope the players that don’t meet his standard of professionalism are moved on quick smart and I think there could be a few.

Allan and Doucoure would pretty much the play the same as in the 442 but still struggle against a 3 man… CB’s would be Godfrey right, Mina central and hopefully Branthwaite on the left. If not I would see Grodfrey & Holgate wide with either Mina/Keane central. Whilst their ability is still suspect it would suit Patterson perfectly and from what I’ve seen Niels could be perfect for that.

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned elsewhere so apologise in advanced but fan behaviour in that game was disgusting. I understand it can sometimes be one person but it’s not the first time this season. Frustrations are high, understandable but throwing things at opposition players is never acceptable. It’s not the sort of image I associate with our fans who are in general excellent.

Seriously I have no idea how a Moshiri has amassed such wealth if he allows himself to be influenced in the way he does by people around him. On the manager note - Most the names mentioned are no where near experienced enough for what needs to happen here. I like Martinez but it’s to hostile for him - he will need to start winning games from the start or else it will be horrible, way too risky. Niko Kovac is the best option in my opinion but Moshiri needs to stay out of the day to day running of the club and let him do his job. Unfortunately for us fans we may need accept mid table finished for the next few season while we re build some form stability.
