Like I've said from the beginning, they've backed themselves into a corner by starting with points deductions. That should never have been the first step.

Even if what Jarrad is saying is true it won't make up for Pickford being a bit shouty. We all know that's why he'll be leaving.

you can see in just this forum alone - how a 30-40 word article has be dragged accross the coals, sensationalised and blow out of any sort of proportion, and now there are tens if not hurdreds of thousands of words written about an incident but that in realliy 99.99% have no fucking clue about any details, peoples intent etc as they where not privy to it first hand - the vast majoiryt is conjector to suit any individuals own narratives.
There was an uncomfortable or embarresing (word used in the original article) 'incident' and even in the souce article its sound like I was simply dealt with fairly qucikly like mature grown up. A senior Player appear comfortable in approaching the boss to call him out about it (in original article) and the boss apologies for it (in the original article).
A sign off the times and perhaps subtle difference in the expectations and banter (for want of a better word) of different generations.
I am sure everybody will learn from the incident, and that all you can resonably expect from people.

Btay reacted to StevO in Sean Dyche
The players will have forgotten about it by the time the flight landed back in England. Lost respect after a bit of a gag went wrong? But had the balls to apologise?
I have more respect for someone who holds their hands up when they make a mistake. If it’s the first mistake he’s made then I’m sure he’s forgiven most of the team for their mistakes in his time here.

Btay got a reaction from Matt in Sean Dyche
It’s more the “he had to pick Patterson & picked his mark” comment which interprets it was a planned moment out of motive.
Simply, I don’t know all the details & clearly not as privy as Patto is to the ins & outs of the inner running of the club. Patto could have said something completely out of line, it could have been a very minor thing that became a bit more than intended, it could have been an act of bullying. Point is I don’t know exactly but from most reports an apology was given & acceptable, which sounds like it’s dealt with. I’m also not saying it’s okay to slap anyone for the record but there is context to be considered.

So you’re telling me Dyche went to a team dinner with a pre conceived plan to slap Patterson because he identifies him as an easy target amongst the squad to exert some authority? Like, seriously?

Again, without any real conclusive evidence this is just a ridiculous stance to take.
No disrespect to you but the only people who have jumped on this are the ones who want Dyche out. Put your feelings to the side for a moment and let the facts comes out about the situation.

Patto should have been in the team from Christmas. No doubt of that. A run of 11 games(?) without a win anyways, would have been valuable time for him to develop in to the player we all know he can be. His ceiling is higher than anyone we have at RB at the moment.

I'm guessing/hoping that our case will be 0-1 point deduction.
absolute joke either way.

I don’t even disagree that the Johnson transfer should have been a mitigating factor because why should they have to take a lower a fee from another club acting like a vulture. But if something that Forest chose to do was allowed as mitigation why wasn’t the war in Ukraine etc allowed for us when we had zero control over that?
None of this makes any sense and rather than show that an independent regulator isn’t needed all it’s done is shown that it is desperately needed.
Fuck Richard Masters, fuck the Premier League and fuck their farcical panels.

I doubt he will start although I think he should definitely have played more than he has done.

Coleman can’t stay fit, Godfrey has been garbage, Young has been playing further forward and also can’t stay fit. Would make sense to start Patterson anyway, right?

The thing that bothers me the most with Forest's punishment is that their overspend (almost double ours) did actually give them a sporting advantage and they somehow received a smaller punishment than our original one of 10 points and then even had it reduced.
These panels are as much of a joke as the PL.

Btay got a reaction from Matt in Jarrad Branthwaite
Absolutely, I think Dyche’s interview a few weeks ago In which he alluded to our financial position & not needing to sell is to strengthen our case with Jarod.
I hope he doesn’t go, another season with him will be massive for us to actually build a foundation.

This is most likely a very minor thing that is being turned in to a mountain mate.
