  1. I’m easily misled, why the fuck do people post shit like that wtf do they get out of it.
  2. Not sure if this has been put else where, but our first 5 games are Bournemouth h, Fulham a, Leeds h, Brentford a, and Palace h, then we have a trip away to Arsenal away for the 6 game. I would expect a minimum 11 points from the first 5 games, easiest start to a season you could wish for.
  3. I gave up in 2006 use to smoke 30-40 a day Marlboro lights started at 15 so damage more than likely done, I honestly wouldn’t have a clue what 20 Marlboro would cost now, probably not enough to if people are still buying them.
  4. We have done it to tobacco companies wholesale in this country, even to the extent that we accept no tobacco advertising from other countries to be shown in this country. Gambling is what keeps our horse racing going without gambling it wouldn’t be what it is right now the gambling companies have bank rolled it for years because most wouldn’t exist without it. But as in Formula 1 Snooker and other sports who were bankrolled by the tobacco industry they had to find other streams of revenue support even though they said it would be the end of their sport if tobacco advertising was banned, it wasn’t, and that would be the same for sports and teams sponsored by gambling companies.
  5. I’m not saying ban gambling, drinking, smoking, or complicit over the correct age pornography but I would say ban all advertising that promotes these activities, for me that wouldn’t be restricting society, but banning advertising could help protect some of the vulnerable members of society. And those who want to participate still have the option to do so, but instead of them looking to hook you you have to look for them. Is that such a bad ideal or would you rather we become inundated with gambling companies advertising and trying to hook first time punters who could turn into the next addict, and without that encouragement from the advertising possibly may of not made that first bet that spiralled into an addiction.
  6. Whether you or I find this difficult to comprehend a big percentage of gambling addicts became addicted straight after their first bet, unfortunately that is a fact and I find it hard to comprehend because nothing like that has ever happened to me. This is why gambling shouldn’t be advertised we shouldn’t make it easy for companies to encourage first time gamblers to make their first bet, all first time gamblers have the potential to be the addicts of the future, so let’s do everything to stop the promotion of gambling.
  7. Stake.com’s advertising is not going to make any difference to people who are or have already been involved with gambling whether in a controlled or out of controlled way, and that would apply to all companies who advertise and promote gambling, what the advertising of these companies does is encourage younger people or people who have never gambled before an easy route to make their first bet, which in turn starts a cycle of addiction for many people who without seeing the advertising would not of considered gambling. My view is if people want to gamble make them do the leg work and stop advertising and handing it on a plate for them.
  8. Never heard of alcohol poisoning then I take it, when you’re addiction is gambling drugs or drinking it’s not just the individual partaking in what ever vice that they maybe addicted to that is suffering, it’s their families who bare the brunt of their weaknesses, if advertising didn’t encourage people to gamble then why advertise, and for every so many new people attracted to these companies it will be the start of a devastating illness that will wreck many lives.
  9. Well it least it will force us to do something about once and for all instead of dealing with the same shit every year, plus I have a good feeling about Patterson.
  10. They should change the title to the Lord of the Lies.
  11. That means he’s on sensible wages for nearly another 3 weeks
  12. Do you mean like shut the fuck up you silly old sod your not playing, now sit down and shut it
  13. Hopefully he has an old head on young shoulders, I don’t think he will lack the confidence and he’s got the ability now it’s down to Lampard and his back room boy’s to coach him into the system.
  14. I know many don’t like it and we haven’t been to successful in recent years but I can see us playing 3 CD with Patterson and Mykolenko as wing backs.
  15. I don’t have to much of a problem with Patterson I think he would fit well into a Lampard team based on good possession with an attacking mentality, he’s a young lad with a great first touch and an ability to keep possession in a tight spaces, I have a lot of belief in him he could be a great asset for us.
  16. I think they only thing hurt with the fan was his pride he fell over trying to get away, if you’re going to get in someone’s face at least have the bottle to back it up, fucking embarrassing
  17. He was offered a new contract but turned it down, made me think we aren’t good enough to keep JJK now
  18. Had a pint with him in Sinatra’s Puerto Banus when he was still Palace chairman and we had just got Johnston from them, he’s not a bad bloke face to face very talkative and fairly down to earth.
  19. Exactly I said the same thing with sport pesa, bought shirts for the grand kids and one said straight away it’s not the same as the players, they notice things like that and want to be the same as their heroes.
  20. Why can’t we judge him on what’s already happened? I’m a great believer in not forgetting history and judging mistakes of that time whether good or bad, for me that’s how you help stop the poorer things from happening in the future and the better decisions to be repeated. Let’s not let him forget the shit he’s caused and maybe he will learn to keep out of what he’s not qualified to do. But as Matt said his ability to build the new stadium and give us a bigger and better future in respect of what the stadium could and should mean to us, can’t be underestimated and I thank him for that.
  21. Strange thing is under Ancelotti he was a consistent starter in the league hardly injured at all, last season was very bleak I think selling now is good option get a bit of money and save a big wage. If his next season is like his last he walks on a free the next it could cost us £15m with a fee and wages, what would suit us best the money or the gamble?
  22. Chelsea Real Madrid and PSG, I’m surprised he didn’t want Newcastle as well after all they are a huge club for a player with ambitions
  23. My first thought was I wonder who he paid to write that for him, my final thought was the same as my first.
