  1. Just finished watching Hacksaw Ridge powerful film 2nd time I've seen it as good this time as the first. Still find it hard to comprehend that it's true.
  2. I know what you mean the constituency I live in is staunch conservative, so unless I become the world's biggest mass murderer by some 6,000 or so people they will romp it.When I lived 15 minutes away in Swindon East it was always marginal seat swinging between Labour and Conservative, wish I still lived in a marginal seat where your vote can make a difference.
  3. I think you do at the moment your a tree hugger, come on Mike get with the program a west country resident you must have Lib Dem coursing through your veins.
  4. I agree very interesting, we have got serious player in our hands when it comes to Lukaku, hope we can convince him to stay.
  5. My poll came out as follows. 1) Labour 2) Plaid Gymru 3) Lib Dems Well I'm definitely not voting Labour Corbyn needs to go and the party needs to pull away from their extreme left position. At a guess don't think that Welsh party would have a candidate in my constituency. So that leaves me with Lib Dem which I been championing in previous post. So this is my party political broadcast on behalf of TTF,if you feel disenfranchised with Labour, can't stand the Tories, then join me in voting Lib Dem and take control back from the far right extremist government.
  6. Don't ask me. Early February I went for Leicester, Palace, and Hull, I'd still like to see Palace go down but that's more out of a dislike for Fat Sam.
  7. Exactly Paul so let's vote Lib Dem even if it is a protest vote it might have some use, in Labour getting shot of Corbyn, and the Tories seeing even if they win the seats they require on proportional representation they wouldn't have walked it.Better than just throwing the towel in even if it does go against the grain, and anyway not all Liberals are wishy washy Churchill wasn't.
  8. I do agree to a certain extent, but we didn't have to leave the E.U to curb the amount of people entering the country, we could have stopped the amount of people coming in from outside the E.U, we have always had control on that yet it is still happening today, that those immigrants make up a large percentage of immigrants entering the country. So therefore it pretty much proves that the so called we want control of our borders brigade, the likes of Johnson and Gove, lied about controlling immigration and a lot of people fell for that lie.
  9. I know Bailey it's pretty depressing, just hate to think Conservatives are going to storm it without anyone putting up a credible fight.
  10. That goes without saying the French and Italians have always been against us being in from the start, that was always one of the positives about being in the E.U it pissed some countries off.
  11. I live with the Hooray Henry brigade and the jolly hockey sticks set just outside Cirencester in the Cotswolds, now I have voted Labour all my life, in the last few elections more out of respect for my parents and North East heritage, I've been here just over 4.5 years and this is a staunch conservative area, but I still voted Labour in the last election knowing full well I was pissing in the wind, this time I won't be voting Labour which I say with a heavy heart, but I won't back Cornyn, so this election for me will be liberal and again due to my location I will still be pissing in the wind. I just hope that more people who normally vote Labour who have decided that the can't vote for Corbyn, and disillusioned Conservatives don't stay at home but vote for Lib Dems and try to give the Conservatives a bloody nose.
  12. Can't remember hearing the party having a say on the election. Her own MPs never had a clue.
  13. May should not have signed article 50 if she intended to go back on her words that there would be no general election till 2020, she should have had the election first, and who ever won should have been given the go ahead to sign or not sign. The reason she did what she did is because she was scared it would become a E.U vote and she new she would lose, if the country had a rerun the in vote would win and she and her cronies know that.
  14. Sounds good to me anyway quite like yellow.
  15. Fair play John look after yourself mate, sounds like your doing a better job than me up to now lol
  16. Don't know how long ago that was John, but technology moves on and techniques change all the time, go online and search Evodental, its definitely an eye opener.Let me know what you think John and how different it was to your experience.
  17. One flaw with that valuation is Man U cocked up, Pogba isn't worth any where near what they paid for him.
  18. That for me staying at the club as a coach.
  19. I've just had full implants fitted by Evodental they have 2 clinics 1 unbelievably in Liverpool and 1 where I had mine fitted in London. 1) Had X-Ray and consultation to see if I was suitable. Decided straight away I was going to have it done, they took all the impressions, and I was booked in 3 weeks later, 10 days before I went to Mexico wife wasn't to impressed with my timing. 2) On the day of surgery had to have 19 teeth removed first, probably half were good 3 were broken and others in various states of repair and disrepair, also had a plate with 4 upper front teeth which I'd had since I was 20, knocked out by a Reading supporter using a brick, and 3 I had had removed over the years. Anyway I was in the chair for 5 hours with one rest break, teeth removed and 11 implants fitted, then 2 hours later they fitted a temporary set so your not walking around for what would normally be 3 weeks before your first permanent set has been made and ready to be fitted, in my case it was 9 days because I was going to Mexico, I have to go back in July when they are going to make me a second set which they keep as backup. When I had to discuss the costs it was with one of the owners a scouse lad called Steve who was a red, he obviously worked in the Liverpool clinic with his partner and when they decided to branch out he took the London clinic, he's not a dentist himself he's a business man, I was given an initial price of 24k, but after a bit of negotiating paid 21k. Had them nearly 6 weeks now can eat anything, they look great best decision I made wish I'd done it years ago, but like Steve said 10 years ago that would have cost in excess of 100k.
  20. Challenging to have to make a decision that momentous, the easy option would have been to go with the parents wishes, but would that have been wrong for the baby and prolonged unnecessary suffering. Makes me think of my father's death we and the nurses didn't want to administer treatment the doctor did, it took just over a week to get what we believe was the right decision.
  21. That was me Mike drove up from Swindon to do a bit of shopping and wish you a happy birthday.
  22. Very interesting article, some very hard times a head by the sounds of it.And you can almost hear May when she's on the scrap heap in 4-5 years time, defending her stance on Brexit with " don't blame me I was only doing what the people wanted" as her get out of jail card for the carnage that will happen.
