  1. Surely every player is a cast off if they leave a team, difference is some are worth buying other aren’t , Ake yes, Delph no. Peter Reid was a Bolton injury prone cast off when we bought him, that turned out OK
  2. Well put, and we need to say the same for every player from here onwards.
  3. What, you want us to re sign him after letting him go 7 days ago?
  4. Depressingly true, we were woeful last night.
  5. Anthony Gordon, showed more desire than anyone
  6. Michael Keane once again for me, so solid and seems to win everything, Vardy got past him once near the end. Holgate impressive again, The game always looks effortless for him, and unluckily his clearance bounced of Ianachos head for the goal. On a positive note I’ve no one to moan about from tonight.
  7. They never really looked like scoring to me, unlucky Masons clearance hit ianachos head and went in. Gordon was excellent, Keane solid, DCL a pain in the arse for their defenders, and a good subs performance from Tom, solid defending and some creativity towards the end. We still could see Europe at this rate if things go our way in other games.
  8. Shaming the City and dragging everyone down. Feel sorry for Joe Anderson, he graciously congratulated them on winning and it being good for the city and then this shit happens. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a spike in Covid locally after the last two nights.
  9. He looks like he thinks he is better than he actually is to me, that dribble is part, other is when the ball comes to him, he tries a turn thinking he will roxi his marker only to be disposed. Needs to start playing a simpler game and get up to speed.
  10. Michael Keane, solid in defence and git the winner. Iwobi split personality game awful in first half, excellent in 2nd. Siggy solid and settled the team down IMO.
  11. Siggy seems to have brought a better balance to the team, great shot from Dom, Iwobi moved the ball quicker, looking good
  12. Me too, improvement in finishing was the main criticism many had of him, I wasn’t overly critical but for me that’s improving by the day, we have a player who will continue to improve and seems a well grounded bloke. ( Moise Kean take note)
  13. Seamus, led by example and didn’t put a foot wrong, fantastic recovery to get back on Mane towards the end.
  14. Dull as dishwater until the 79th min and then we gave them some problems, Tom unlucky not to score, Gomez got a slight deflection on his shot. Richy should have squared it to Iwobi, but we all know why he decided not to, not faith in Iwobi finishing it.
  15. There’s an excellent piece in the Times today about Denise and how the club have dealt with the Covid situation, so so proud to be a blue. sorry if the link doesn’t work it may need a subscription, hopefully someone who subscribes can post it. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/i-dont-see-myself-as-a-female-in-sport-im-a-leader-in-sport-ttnjtk53q
  16. Hope this happens, far too inconsistent in his efforts here which is the frustrating thing on his day he can be very good.
  17. I’m happy with this, top man and player, knows he can’t do week in week out anymore, but still delivers when needed, and we can’t underestimate the importance of a quality senior player in the dressing room.
  18. Terrible news for the lad, I’ve just been back over the previous page to refresh my memory, it really doesn’t read well for him. Wishing him a full recovery and getting back into contention.
  19. I got the email this morning, also have see the posts on Facebook, most seem to be donating the refund to EITC if they are able to do so, I will be, there’s lots of people in worse of situation and in need of assistance. Either way very proud to be a blue and part of the family.
