  1. It’s what we need at this point, imagine Marco doing that!
  2. DCL had an great game again, gave united defenders lots to think about and got under their skin, but I’m going for Mason, I reckon we were all worried at kick off when he took up the midfield role, but he played really well and stood up to the plate brilliantly, his composure on the ball and confidence attitude helps him slot in where needed. Bainsy was excellent for his first real run out this season, calm head and all that.
  3. Happy with the result, although thought we were going to hold on for all three points as they didn’t seem that threatening. Kean cane on and was poor for me, Duncs in charge and pulled him off for the benefit of the team and points, Kean isn’t going to like it but tough. Did anyone think we would get 4 points from these two games after the Liverpool game, I certainly didn’t. Cant wait for Wednesday under the lights COYB.
  4. Looks like our hand is being forced with team selection, Iwobi in Siggys role where he has been at his best, he look lost on the wing IMO, got to be a game where we defend with our lives and hit them on the counter, think there be a lot of us watching from behind the sofa !
  5. ^^Me too, good for Big Dunc and intended manager and the players IMO
  6. If we’re still undertaking a “project” I don’t think Ancellotti is the right man, always seems to be in short term positions. Emery might be a better prospect for a longer term
  7. DCL ran after everything yesterday, won most aerial challenges, and had someone playing alongside him to benefit, god knows why Marco never tried two up front. I particularly love his first goal, wins the header, brings it down and slots it home, fantastic determination.
  8. Absolutely or fat fingers on wobbly train more like
  9. DVL gets my vote, but it was a difficult choice, Richarlison and Holgate excellent also.
  10. Fantastic match to be at, it made up for the disappointments of recent weeks. It was a joy to be at the The Grand Old Lady and feel the roar of the crowd.. Everyone played well, Iwobi could have made more of an impact in all aspects of his game. It felt like a weight had been taken off the players shoulders with them playing more positively, very pleased to see we didn’t play out if defence too much, in our position it’s the wrong thing to do imo. cant wait for our next home game COYB
  11. Just on our way on the train, Nervously optimistic for today, want to see a side with decent pace and some steel from the players COYB
  12. I’m struggling to feel sorry for him, yes he’s just been sacked again, but he’s had a good wage from us, and will get a fantastic severance payout, so he’s OK financially, and look where we are, in bottom 3 confidence shot, the laughing stock of the prem ( bar Watford) . If he had shown some balls and tried different options I’d have a modicum of sympathy, but he just kept trying the same old same old, striker for striker, Schniederlin on when we’re chasing a game, just not good enough.
  13. Our connection dropped at least twice last night and froze a few times, don’t have fibre yet with approx 13mb speeds. Anyone else get similar problems?
  14. Willow the wisp ? Would have been better than last nights incumbent
  15. He has some bad luck fall his way, but for me he lacks the ability to effect changes in a game, we go behind far too often and can’t pull the game back, most of his subs are like for like. Last night was the classic example, we were loosing 4-2 at half time to the best team in the premier and European champions, a game were not going to get anything from unless changes were made. He should have put Kean on with DCL, Siggy did nothing, neither did Bernie ( wrong game and timing for him to back IMO) a 442 would have given a stronger front line against a team who do concede goals, and if we’re playing in their half they less likely to score against us.
  16. Gave mine to Mina for his second half performance, gave us a bit of steel which was desperately needed. Richarlison close but went to ground too easily as ever
  17. Other than being the eternal optimist that I am, did we really expect to get a result tonight, but it really showed how poor we are at the moment, even with the penalty shouts and a red to TAA they would have still won. We so weak through the centre except Pickford, we need some Steel in defence and midfield and a striker who can finish, Origi who’s been a bit part player this season came in and finished his chances. Its going to be interesting to see how the board now react.
  18. Siggy is doing nothing to affect the game, bring him off, drop Iwobi back and bring on Kean. Oh and maybe the defence start to defend against the long balls, just maybe
