Poor penalty, but two sublime finishes for his goals, for his first MOTD had one camera angle immediately behind him, the curve on the ball is beautiful as it threads its way through the rowdies area in the net, and on the 2nd the goalie or rooted to the spot and isn'ttt able to make any attempt to save it.
I hate the price tag issue, but for £15m more than Bolassie he look,s a bargain in comparison.

And only 2 key passes, one being to Bernard for the third goal. We'll have non of that rubbish please.

Ethically you should just upgrade it but they never check . I’ve used my daughters under 11’s ticket every game for the past 4 seasons! ( although she does use mine)
I think they check the beeps as you go through, an adult and a kid beep are different tones, I think they would pick up on two adults going through on different beeps.

Take, you can upgrade it to an adult ticket and pay the difference at the ticket office on the day

That turn yesterday before the assist. Stopped the ball dead.
Looks to have beautiful close control.
It was great to watch, such composure and confidence on the ball, something we need more of.
I initially thought Siggy had messed up the pass with his first touch, I looked liked he should have hit it first time, but I love how he left he keeper absolutely motionless.
-
Went fit Gans, he was everywhere when needed, seems so much bettter when he’s without Schneiderlin.
Kenny and Digne were very good, both should be our favoured full back pairing.
-
Looks like we’re trying too hard and not making the right choices front of goal.
linesman isn’t helping on the Goodison Rd side, he’s made some awful calls.
Need to keep driving st them and shoot a bit !

Fulham have never won at Goodison in the league... Well, fuck.
It's when the commentators say that, that's when we're buggered, unless its when we haven't won somewhere for ages, love last weekend.

amazing news and well done brands moshiri et all. keeping our talent and not becoming a selling club is paramount.
100% yes and sends a string message to other teams that we're not a selling club as we used to be.
FWIW if you look at the Facebook post, there's lots of comments saying he's not that good, bitter reds with nowt better to do

You seriously think two weeks of full contact training (I assume it’s been full contact but I wouldn’t be surprised if it hasn’t been) is enough after that sort of injury? Madness.
Spot on, if ever there was a player who shouldn't be rushed back it's McCarthy

We're not exactly ripping up trees yet with 6 from 6, Stek could be a mistake IMO, he doesn't give the back line confidence which we desparately need.

he was at fault for one of their goals, his man and he didn't challenge/pressure and then he fell over (or he dove out of the way of the shot) either way not a good look. didn't see him do anything of note in the attacking half either. not sure how that is playing well.
Every defender we have fielded this season has made mistakes, not sure why your so down on him as an individual player, most on here were very critical of Colemans performance until his injury. We can't expect Jonjoe to be perfect so early in his career, but for me he is one of the payers who will give his all in each game, and one of a very small number of players that will put a crunching tackle in .

I like this, but would put Tom in for Siggy based on last weekends performances, Siggy is letting games pass him by, and failed to deliver anything from set pieces.
-
He's still a work on progress IMO and I'd be happy to give him more time to develop, not every player comes out of the blocks at 100 mph at is age.

And who said footballers were not the brightest?

Lots of flak gets thrown at Gana, Davies and Schneiderlin (yes from me) on this forum. Sigurdsson didn't look worth half his £45m price tag on Sunday. In danger of becoming yet another very expensive mistake.
I'd agree with you on that, I don't think we've ever seen him turn in a brilliant performance yet, granted last season was a disaster, but he really needs to step up his game soon IMO
-
Went for Tom, he wasn't 100% perfect but gave a good performance apart from a couple of misplaced passes, didn't let the responsibility of being captain weigh him down.
-
Saw the game on Sky and just watched the highlights on MOTD, we weren't clinical in front of goal, if we had of been we would have won this game, 9 attempts 6 on target. That would have been 4-5 games worth last season.
if can and will improve, we need a couple of those chance to go in, and build our confidence, were clearly a work in progress so let's give it the time it needs.

As far as I'm concerned he should never wear An Everton shirt again he is not interested he couldn't wait to get off the pitch and I'm sure he dodged Silva on the way off big mistake not taking the money offered and to think he's blocking a young player who wants to play.
Me too, he was th first off the pitch today, head down, didn't have the balls to look around and acknowledge the fans. As for his playing time, did nothing of note.

I know people are slagging Morgan but fuck me his dad died last night. # cunts
100% right, but surely he shouldn't have been playing today, his head wiill have been mashed today. My sympathies go to him and his family.

I missed the first two home games, and was looking forward to today.. The first few minutes we were dominant and looked totally in control, they scored and our heads dropped so much, we seemed to loose all confidence and then gifted them a second. Clawed one back, and started second half looking like we were going to go on and win, and then threw away all hope.
I felt we were better than anything we saw under gravy chops, we actually had a few attempts on goal, on another day, Tosun head in, puts his shot wide of the keeper and we've got three, and Niasse hits the net not the bar..
But, we didn't, we ran ourselves in to deadends so many times, passed behind each other when playing forward slowing moves down, Tosun is clearly lacking confidence, how long can we carry on with him, Morgan's just lost his dad and gets my full sympathy , but should not have been playing, his head clearly wasn't right.
im going to out this one down as a bad day at the office, hopefully with some lessons learned.

Too many changes to the team cost us tonight, all the good team work that’s started to show was taken apart, Gana and Davies, Kenny and Walcott, and a totally new pairing on the left. Should have started off with pretty much he sane team, got ahead by a couple and then rested.
only good from tonight was seeing Bernard do full 90 mins, and that he needs to play centrally not on the wing.
onwards and upwards at the weekend.
