Sev reacted to MikeO in Board/Owners Related Stuff
You're missing my point completely. No problem whatsoever with people quoting what they've read or their opinion of things, site would shut down otherwise.
My problem, on this occasion, was you couching what you've read and what you think about it as fact ("Moshiri would rather see his employees go without wages" "they are the ones who are going to suffer") when you have absolutely no way of knowing that.
Politician A..."....the Rwanda policy will reduce small boat crossings!" Ridiculous statement.
Politician B..."...I think the Rwanda policy will reduce small boat crossings," Stupid but a perfectly acceptable thing to say.
It's actually very rare that people post their unsubstantiated opinion as solid fact on here, very far from "most posts", and if I see it I'll call it out. I really don't understand why you're making such a big deal of it, it was just three wordsđ¤ˇââď¸

Been said many times on TT in recent years "it's the hope that kills us"

Just want to say that NOT playing in The Championship is a really big (perhaps the biggest) thing for me. Even if the EPL are currently a bunch of shortsighted, corrupt bastards. Where there's a lot of money corruption and the likes will happen ... seen enough of examples of that.

True but firms like 777 are about making profit and getting a club to turn a profit is damn near impossible.
Genuinely hope I'm wrong but this hasn't felt right from the start for me.

It has the feeling of man buys a much loved vintage car that needed TLC and restoring..... he wastes a load of money on sound systems and fluffy dice and now it needs a new engine and he's trying to flog it for parts. Â Meanwhile there are probably some enthusiasts who will offer a fair price but no..... Moshiri is considering "we buy any car"Â

Moshiri has wasted far too much time on these.
Yet another bad decision on his part.

I think they fully expected clubs to just take their medicine and not appeal and that it would quickly see off the independent regulator.
They underestimated things badly and the complete opposite has happened.

Okay long story, I'm a United fan but for some reason for years have always read the Match Day reactions on here, hoped the best for you lot, and never posted on here. Like when something has gone down I'm like "Must check ToffeeTalk".
I had that same reaction a few minutes ago when THIS dropped đ And as it's not here yet, had to sign up and share it!

Sev reacted to Tonsta in Sean Dyche
Sean Dyche has done a superb job with a toxic club, with no no one at the helm, and lumps of concrete thrown at him every 5 mins, points deduction. no money to spend, non existent board room, all taking a big pay off, and making the club more venerable. Also a bunch of players who have thrown no end of managers under the bus, he stood strong.
Well done Sean, it might not have always been pretty or easy on the eye, that will come with time and a few better players.
But a big thanks from me for the job you have done, at 70 years old they have not been relegated in my lifetime, long may it last. Â

Even if the Premier League had taken the 17 points from us that they wanted to we still wouldn't be in the relegation zone today.
Just think about that.

3 wins, 3 clean sheets in a week. I'm shocked but thrilled.. there was a lot of fight in the club after all. Heck of a job Chermetti. Didn't look out of place. Rough year but they fought through. Also thank you to England's #1

Gonna be such a relief to not have to sweat out the final match day this season.Â

Phew. Another 3 and a clean sheet.
We looked much better in the 2nd half, looking for the goal. Once we got it, we took the pace out of the game.
4 wins in the last 5. With 4 clean sheets.
Christ. The fuckin club.
Anyway, safe for another year. Without the points deduction we'd be level with Brighton in 12th.
Hopefully, all the shit off the pitch can get sorted and allow us, as a club, to focus on moving forward.

Pickford has been brilliant tonight, other than his kicking.

We've not conceded or been on the back foot with a tired team, that's improvement in my eyes

I think you are underestimating how difficult it is playing lone striker feeding off scraps with Doucoure struggling to be on your wavelength.Â
19 year old kids don't put performances in like that. No he wasn't dcl vs Liverpool - but relevant to his experience it was superb.

Detraining is the partial or complete loss of training-induced adaptations, in response to an insufficient training stimulus. Detraining characteristics may be different depending on the duration of training cessation or insufficient training.Â
Short term cardiorespiratory detraining is characterised in highly trained athletes by a rapid decline in maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) and blood volume. Exercise heart rate increases insufficiently to counterbalance the decreased stroke volume, and maximal cardiac output is thus reduced. Ventilatory efficiency and endurance performance are also impaired.
These changes are more moderate in recently trained individuals. From a metabolic viewpoint, short term inactivity implies an increased reliance on carbohydrate metabolism during exercise, as shown by a higher exercise respiratory exchange ratio, and lowered lipase activity, GLUT-4 content, glycogen level and lactate threshold. At the muscle level, capillary density and oxidative enzyme activities are reduced. Training-induced changes in fibre cross-sectional area are reversed, but strength performance declines are limited.
Hormonal changes include a reduced insulin sensitivity, a possible increase in testosterone and growth hormone levels in strength athletes, and a reversal of short term training-induced adaptations in fluid-electrolyte regulating hormones.
I thought everyone knew thatđ

Which I think is why they needlessly and extensively looked at chalking off our goal.Â

I love that we fucked up Sky's plan. Lets face it, that's why our game against Luton is on the tv on Friday.
They thought it would be a relegation decider. Instead, it's now a bit of a damp squib.

Jesus! Him again? Well, what we needed, panick in their defence and even Gana couldn't miss there. 1-0.

Three in a row, eh. Like that very much. Top flight is here to stay for us.
