Confirmed #LFC team v @Everton: Mignolet, Cissokho, Skrtel, Toure, Flanagan, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sturridge, Sterling, Suarez
Maybe that article should be shoved under the nose of every journo that believes Everton are some form of feeder club for Man United... maybe then they will hesitate creating "Barkley to United for £30 plus Vidic, Cleverley and Buttner"
Random journo formula being:- £Xm + old player + failed player + squad player

Workman and tools springs to mind...
That was often the answer dunc and a few others gave regarding criticisms of Moyes and my response was "being manager does not always make you right"...
Now to be fair I would actually still say this is the case with any manager. However in the case of Martinez he has 300 times my trust than Moyes.
Still doesn't make roberto always right but I would say 99 times out of a 100 he will be!
Did he manager to negotiate captaincy, involvement in future transfers and for goodison to be maned Baines park???
Ooops - sorry, for a minute I thought players were bigger than the clubs, musdt get Man United out of my mind.
Pleased with this...
No we would probably be questioning why Barkley is on loan at Tranmere, where is John Stones, why Neville is still playing and why Heitinga is playing in midfield, and probably why are you always looking to defend him...
5/7 of our current inuries happened out on the pitch and barring Deulofeu were impact injuries... nothing to do with training.
£23m? If he was worth that then why would Chelsea sell him? In other words he isn't worth that.
I'm not saying I don't rate him, but for me the word potential is the things he should be doing better... Touch being one. He's a bit like crouch in that aspect, because he's always been huge his touch never needed to be so tight as he uses strength to prevent ball being nabbed. Crouch likewise never had to jump.
As soon as you are at prem level these things stand out.
Shite!!! Anelka meltdown, the man's a prick but as a footballer he has pace, control, finishing, intelligence, he can play across the front three. A very good player.
As for Adam Johnson, he's a quality player.
