  1. Seems to me it's you who keeps coming back bleating, like a child when he can't get his own way Most Evertonians, if they could be bothered would quote the facts that I have, you don't seem to like facts, you call them rants....guess it helps you get over your problems. I work with a decent red, from what he tells me it's no wonder you spend your time on Blue forums! The rs forums are not happy places at the moment...much hate and bitterness! Stick around, I kinda like winding you up....it's so easy :lol:You give us all a good laugh, that article you posted was brilliant. What the deluded author was infact saying was "It's just not fair", which I guess is pretty much how you rs all feel. YAWN!
  2. Thought we won the game on the grass but got trashed in the air. There was some great movement in the 1st half slightly less in the second. But just about every thing in the air was won by spurs. Shame about the mistake for the goal, but hey! outfield players make mistakes every game and they are never mentioned. Probably the sort of game an on form Fellaini would have turned our way, oh well, we have that to look forward to. Thought Jags deserves a special mention for fouling Crouch so many times.....but never getting caught Moyes and the players know we can do better, things are looking up!
  3. How much gas was taken out of the tank midweek! Playing them now I'd say we have good chance of sneaking it..0-1. After last weeks win a point would seem a bit of a blow, but maybe a draw wouldn't be a disaster. Just please don't lose....my wife's got a soft spot for spurs and I work with a spurs fan, and in the latter case money will be changing hands
  4. Never have I seen so many arrows, diagrams, seen circles drawn around players and gaps where players should have been.....heard so many excuses.......You lost! The author Tim Hilluk, obvious red, in trying to explain why they lost, couldn't help but mention previous wins over the Blues (why was that relavent to this game) He ends blaming everyone except the players......WHY? You lost a game of football, get over it. Your team of highly paid stars, with a forward line of Torres, Gerrard and cole, didn't beat an Everton team having themselves made a bad start to the season 4th from bottom, playing at the time without an in-form striker, missing Pienarr and Fellaini, Saha and Anichebe, oh and Rodwell, 5 players who would have figured in the squad that day. Your club were off the back of a new Yank offering to buy out all your problems, your clubs spirits should have been sky high. Oh yes I forgot......Poor old Roy! When Everton lost to Newcastle this season, it was 85% the players fault, not Moyes or Kenwright because he wont sell the club.....the players.
  5. Hysel, English clubs being banned from Europen competition, played no part in Evertons fall from the top Keep em coming johny.....your so funny! Also if Blackburn beat liverpool next weekend......that will obviously be down to Roy and not Reina, Carrigher, gerrard, Cole, torres and a multitude of other highly paid players, if the players aren't playing for Roy, then it's the club they are letting down.Give the poor bloke a chance........I think he's doing a pretty good job.
  6. Is Cahill world class! I have an idea, that if a younger, totally fit Cahill, played just behind the right striker and with the right kind of service behind him (in midfield)......then, then he would be a joy to behold. That role was made for him and at times he has destroyed teams and looked a world class player, but not as often as we would like, that could well be Evertons fault ie wrong striker and midfield formation.....plus drop Timmy back into a more general midfield position and he's far from world class. Cahills a really good player, and if he finishes his career off here in style will be pushing hero status. It was a good day for Everton when he came to Goodison.
  7. Those weren't excuses, they were hard facts! Our fall from champions in 87 had quite a lot to do with English teams being banned from Europe......OOOoooops, we can't mention that......I think I got away with it Your problems wasn't the owners, it was Rafa who wasted millions, a dependance on Gerrard and a fact that if Torres isn't scoring then you are a very average team. Even Alan Hansen, Robbie Fowler (GOD) and numerous other old boys are blaming the players.........I even heard that a rs forum was saying Hansen was sticking the knife int the present squad.......because he missed out on the Prem gravy train. JESUS.......Is there anyone whose NOT at fault for the rs decline....did the Yanks appoint a new dinner lady when they were in power?....BECAUSE IT COULD BE HER FAULT YOU KNOW! You've been out fought and out played this season, that's hardly down to Roy, it's 90% THE PLAYERS! As said we are not LAUGHING AT YOU, we are laughing with you, because even you must admit it is funny......don't worry, you wont even be in the bottom half at Christmas. Why are you on an Everton forum, when you surely need to pull together, perhaps rs forums are bad places to be at the moment!
  8. As mentioned in a few previous posts, the Yaks muscular shoulder charge was a wonderful sight to behold.......BUT surely it needs pointing out to 'big' Yak, that whilst a shoulder charge is a perfectly legal move......you usually have to wait for an opponent to actually come near you before you can excecute it. Running away from the ball in an attempt to find someone to 'shoulder charge'....isn't nice.......but it is funny, thanks Yak.....icing on cake and all that!
  9. Blame the ref's.......you might as well, you blame everything else Funny how you didn't come back about anything else in the post.....bit too close to home probably! Don't worry mate, were not laughing at you, were laughing with you.....you have to admit it is all amusing at the moment. I can't wait for king kenny to push Roy out.......and for you to lose his first game in charge. What will it be then.....we want Klinsman
  10. Moyes has ouwited a liverpool manager more times than he has beaten them! Referee's havn't exactly helped him, certainly in a couple of games. Why should Moyes be expected to beat a team with so much more money to spend than his own, his squads usually come in at about a 1/3 the price of the rs. Since Moyes has been manager here he always goes into the derby games as underdog, he often has to play teenages and local lads. So now it's poor old Roys fault, he picked a decent looking team sunday, before that it was the Yanks.....they didn't give you enough money, Rafa too has taken plenty of blame recently, how long before poor old John W Henry's family are getting death threats. Come to that, I honestly fear for Roys safety.....and I'm not joking! Take a good long look at yourselves, your in with a good chance of becoming the most disliked club in history.
  11. Not a great start for New owner Jonh W Henry, the owner of the baseball team "the red cocks".....making his way to his seat he was heard asking Everton owner Bill Kenwright who would be batting first!!...........MMmmm seems John W Henry made another mistake when he jumped up when Everton scored........there he was thinking he'd bought the best team on Merseyside, surely that was the team playing in Blue wasn't it, he was over heard saying! He knows he can turn it around though, he stated after the game all they need is a new pitcher and a few cheerleaders and he's certain he can get them to safety.
  12. Great result, and the first half performance was excellent.Distin had a great game and for me was the pick of the bunch. Spurs have an epic european game mid-week and then they have to play US! That maybe wasn't our best team out there today, but when you look at the rs, injuries to Gerrard and maybe Torres and they will struggle to beat many teams this season. Was it me or did we seem to give Gerrard way too much space.....but he just didn't use it. Beckford will improve, Coleman also will get better, Fellaini, Anichebe and Rodwell will return....and I can now see life beyond Pienaar. Well played lads. ps....forgot to mention Howard.....had a great game.
  13. Distins best game in an Everton shirt. They all did their bit, we've played better than that and lost ie Villa. The Yank has offered £40 million as transfer funds, their going to need every penny.
  14. The yanks did put shed loads of money into the club, sure it was borrowed, but it gave them the chance to buy brilliant players and pay the wages of probably the best player in the prem(gerrard)....one of their crimes was not being able to start a new stadium, something that would have plunged them deeper into debt, they were also hated for their treatment of Rafa, who fluked a couple of trophies with lets be honest a very good team. They (the Yanks) wanted Klinsman, who I think most liverpool fans would now rather have than poor old Roy!......as stated, if they(liverpool) were now riding high in 4th or above and were in the champions league (plus playing attractive football)they would probably be pretty happy with the situation.......As Ian Rush has just said, you can't really blame the owners, it's more down to the players. liverpool have had a pretty tough fixture list so far this season, and you would expect them with or without new owners to finish top 6, their squad isn't too strong but their best say 14 are certainly top 6. They will probably worm out of the points deduction, but even -9 points for them they should be able to still avoid relegation by a mile. As for the derby game, what the hell does it matter who owns the club, any Everton player whose thoughts are Kenwright linked as they cross the white line needs his arse kicking....the same surely applies to the rs....it's a battle, and as usual the generals are sitting well away from the heat and flying studs. This game in particular, WONT be won by the owners....passion, skill and luck will win this one.
  15. Nice little rest before this one, and that's just what Cahill needed. He will be so looking forward to this game, and wouldn't be surprised to see him get a couple of goals. Just remember though, how many times just lately we've outplayed them and lost! The pressure will be massive for the rs, but lets remember where we are at the moment, why should there be any less pressure on us.....who will handle it best, who will the ref favor, who will have the most luck! those are the million dollar questions! If we win, watch the rs march on Downing street. Come on David Moyes, you know what your team can do, SEND IT OUT TO WIN.Don't let them settle, get at them.......don't give captain fantastic any room, attack Johnson, put Carrigher under pressure.......shit, I'm ready. <_<
  16. Well we won, we deservedly won, and we won without probably our most creative player. If we can get a striker scoring goals we should be ok! Todays squad with Pienaar, Rodwell and Anichebe in it should be too good for most teams.
  17. Didn't read the story.....but if there's a free scoring gay center forward in need of a team, then take a look at Everton mate. If there's a gay central defender, who likes playing in pink, and can stop just about any attack from leading to a goal, get along to Everton. If there's a lad out there who can play any position, who can help us get top 4...who just happens to be gay....well you know the rest! If they give 100% to Everton and the Blue shirt.....and can keep their private life below the radar, I don't care who or what they are. I mean would we care if Everton ladies had a lesbian or two within the ranks

    Fulham (Away)

We've only really had two poor performances this season, in most of the others we were by far the better team, but couldn't finish.I see us having another game like the Villa, no way will Fulham outplay us like Newcastle did (and we let Newcastle outplay us). If we can score we WILL win .
  19. The red shite getting relegated!.....yer that would be great, then we'd only need to find TWO more teams worse than us and we'd be safe!
  20. I'd like to think that finally playing 'shit' today, instead of pretty will wake him (moyes) up!....well it has to doesn't it? Haven't we become reliant on Cahill, if not for his goals then his passion, if we have then it's pretty sad. what has Moyes done for us!.....Didn't someone say no cup runs!!, what about an FA cup final, a semi against Chelsea the season before and decent league placings, infact better than decent to be honest, all this with a dire injury list. We haven't before today played badly, infact we outplayed a couple of teams, but just couldn't finish them. BUT TODAY, and thank God I only saw the first half we really were crap, I'd say Moyes 50% the players 50%. Today I saw Hibbert make the worst timed tackle in history....give Coleman a chance Moyes......."if your good enough, your old enough". OH!.....I almost forgot, you bought Beckford for his ability to feed off through balls, well can you try and get those lads on £50,000 a week to actually fuc%ing give some. Finally......Victor Anichebe.....get well soon!
  21. This has to be the worst we've played this season.......therefore we will win.
  22. Always thought Vaughan and Anichebe would be a great partnership.
  23. They certainly needed him yesterday. I think when people talk about liverpool being all about Gerrard and torres, they need to add Reina. He's probably the prems number one at the moment.

    Man Utd (H)

The only trouble I've ever had at Goodison WAS with a Blue.I was in the family section with my son when a pissed up blue came in at the last second with his very young son, he thought I was in his seat, we were standing at the time as the players ran out, and he was pissed enough not to be able to work out the seat numbers.I managed to help him sort out his seat, but he still spent quite a bit of time giving me verbal and banging me with his knee........good example to his son. He only quitened down after Beattie scored a goal....why!......because my goal celebration involved a high leap followed by a heavy landing on his foot, he kinda kept his leg away from me after that and didn't say much either........and no it wasn't a bad example to MY son, because he didn't see me do it.
