  1. The win over Man City, was a good result, but the performance other than the opening 20 minutes was far from good.Except maybe the fact that the lads defended well, even after Anichebe was sent off. The win against a pretty good Spurs side was very different, but begs the question could/would we have still beaten them with Cahill?....that we will never know, will we. I thought and stated it that, Moyes would obviously try a different route, and the lads would be willing to prove that without Cahill they were still a force. With Cahill we seem hit and miss, it can work or it just doesn't work out on the day, teams we should be beating with our squad are holding us for draws or worse. Let's not get carried away and think, problem solved, just play 442 and were on our way into Europe, because we know we can get beat with 442 just as easily as with 451. On our day with Cahill in his 'role', and with the right players around him, the striker on form, as well as Arteta and co, then we know we are a very good team....but at times this season, and it's as much down to the players as it is Moyes, we've looked pretty short on ideas playing that system. With Caill away, we might just as well stick to 442, as there's no other player at Everton who plays 'that' role like he does. After all it did look good against Spurs. When Cahill returns, then what! I think Moyes needs to show some balls, like some have already said on here, if 442 is working do the unthinkable, drop Tim to at least the bench, we can change things around if we have to, how good would Tim be thrown forward fresh and willing in the last 15mins of a match if we were chasing a goal! I'm on record as a Moyes/Kenwright man......but for the good of Everton David, show some balls, you can drop Jagielka, you can drop Arteta and you can drop Cahill. We have got a good squad, use the whole bloody thing, sometims change is good, Johny can play at the back, Coleman can keep running at people and Arteta might play better if he thinks he's not the king of the midfield. I can see where some people think with this squad another manager might do well with it, but for me, for now, Moyes is still the man.
  2. This is a very troubled person!.....what ever he calls himself these days! He is probably the strangest thing the internet has spawned.....already he mentiones his illness, that's never ending with him.The posts that MikeO have deleted I don't have a problem with, it's his job, as it's mine to warn you all of this very dangerous person. I'v chatted to a few ladies on another site, I've never verbaly molested them like yourself, changing your name as you went. The owner of the old Blue room (Rafa) uncovered some very worrying facts about you after left that forum.... but then you did return with 'another' different name, to continue your filth! I wont continue this conversation in this thread, try a pm you perv.....the lads that use this forum don't deserve to have it fucked by you......and as I've pointed out to MikeO, If he needs to ban me for my posts so be it, this is a great forum, but to share it with you is something I can live without.
  3. Watch him Duncs!.....this bloke is dangerous!
  4. Mr Blue 250, has been Mr Blue 250 from the day he set foot on the forum scene! Unlike Jimmy the pervert......Golden vision.....Monty......and at least 3 other user names he has used.He changes his user name more than his under pants! He used a couple of name changes to harass women on another site!....so be warned. A very sick person!
  5. That's a lot of question marks after 'in Moyes we trust'.......believe me that's going to be analysed I don't care if you do drive a taxi.....(or change your user name every few months) As you say 'a great performance'.
  6. We've played some very good football in previous games this season, just with no end result. I predicted 3-1, I could just see a good performance on the way, and listed Cahills absence as one reason for it. Moyes' hand was forced, and it worked. A good cup result and a win away at lowly liverpool, could set us up for the dependable 2nd half of the season surge.Thing is I want a lot more points between us and the bottom three, after all Wolves have just beaten Chelsea. When Cahill returns, mix it up a bit, play him a bit higher as a partner for the striker, or rest him on the bench against certain teams......don't let opponents know where the hell he's coming from, just don't play him as a regular midfielder. Well done Moyes for tonight, and well done lads. We could always sack Moyes, Hodgson may need a job after tonight.
  7. Well it's all looking good Gareth Bale's not playing.........something to do with a full moon! For that reason and the fact without Cahill the lads will have something to prove. Everton 3 Spurs 1. Yep I got lots of bottle shaped presents for christmas.......I may well have just been playing with my presents before posting.
  8. He's sticking with players who aren't showing form in the vain bloody hope, they might just find some! Our squad shouldn't be at that end of the table!(you say).....well untill a very late dodgy goal by Joe Cole, a squad including Gerrard, Reina, Torres, Cole, Johnson, Carrigher, Kuyt and a few other pretty decent players were below us, and after last season (check last seasons final table) Aston Villa, Fulham, Birmingham etc wont be very happy thay are pretty much in the same crap as us. We don't have a God given right to be top 6.......Moyes and the squad have had to work pretty dam hard over the last few seasons to be thought of a top 6 team. I'm not saying you aren't making valid points, we do have problems, we are too low, some players are off form........I'd say Moyes and the lads are working pretty hard to solve the problems, we need a few breaks, if they come great, if they don't, work fuc%ing harder. I can think of three managers who would come to Everton, Martin O'Neil, Fat Sam, Dave Jones and I'm sure there are loads of others who would love a 3 year contract, with or without money to spend on transfers........but I bet none of those will have got to an FA cup final, semi-final, finished 4th once, a 5th and a couple of 6th places. So how bad is Moyes? I'm sure when Moyes knows he can't take us any further, he will do what Martin O'Neil did. How the hell can people post that Moyes has fallen out with the players!!How do we know that! Pienaar (I believe) said if Everton could meet his wage demand he would stay.....and the Yak is known for his sulks.....Jonny doesn't seem settled here and Bily hasn't made an impact.....ALL because Moyes has fallen out with them Sure I'm looking down nervously, I want points for safety rather than Europen qualification at the moment, but anything other than a bottom 5 finish I'd still like to see Moyes here for next season.
  9. 'A good manager finds ways to make his strikers score'.....interesting, therefore a team playing for a 'good' manager will never have a game where they don't score! That doesn't work make. Yep Moyes has done it AGAIN!.........Fielded a team, who according to all unbiased watchers, played the better football, were basically on top......but didn't win! What more can Moyes do ?. He puts out a team, a pretty good team, they play some better than decent football, they just can't score more than their opponents. NOW, we need some luck, some more fight from the players, a bit of vision from the boss, and the support from the fans.....and for the very nervous, 3 teams worse than us! It's obvious this season isn't going our way! It's more the players/ luck/ opponents fault than it is Moyes. It's a collective thing, Everton are struggling for points, fuc%ing live with it. Bring on the next game, maybe our luck will change, maybe a couple of players will find their form, maybe we will win! Calling for Moyes head is a stupid, shortsighted thing.Who assembled the team that's beating nearly all teams in every department other than scoring.......and Moyes can't MAKE people score.
  10. Vaughan can't be on big money. If Everton let him go before we are absolutely sure he's never going to make it....I will be this angry Listen Moysey!......pump the lad full of pain killer, strap him up, put ice on him, get a private physio......just get him on the pitch, and he WILL score goals.
  11. Nah.....doesn't work! Tried it, and it put's my best mate and my wife in the same place! ..or maybe they've both had their phones stolen and the little low life that pinched them is selling them at that hotel.
  12. Especially when you consider some of the shite still breathing! RIP.
  13. We are skint, along with just about every other football club if the facts were known, my point was if we can keep producing Jeffers (£10 million) Rooneys (£30 million) Anichebes, Vaughans, Hibberts, Osmans, Rodwells etc......and keep buying Pienaars, Artetas, Cahills,......then we have a chance. It's a big ask, to produce that type of player, and to find those kind of bargins, but hey!, we've been doing it, got to a cup final, a semi, a 4th place and european football a few times. You can stamp and screem all you want, demonstrate and paint banners, send death threats and be bought out twice....still they(liverpool) have no money for the January transfer window (or so we are told), and as mentioned are one point ahead of us. You think our existing board have no ambition, spoken to them have you!, they told you they don't want Everton to win things, they are happy to be in the bottom half are they. They are most likely doing the best they can with what they've got. You think I have no ambition, that I want Rodwell sold, that I was glad when we sold Rooney (even if it did make us a better team).Seems to me you make a lot of assumptions. Am I looking forward to the day when we can buy a trophy, when the players troop up to get their medals and not one of them are English, or have any feelings for Everton FC, when their only reason for being at Everton is because we pay stupid money....NO. I want a lot of things for Everton football club, buying success isn't one of them. But that's the only way I hear you shout.....then these are indeed sad times. I will just have to continue to support a team like Everton....no money, burst pipes, soppy Chairman, clueless manager and Tony Hibbert at right back!.....but then I didn't choose.....I was choosen. Suppose I could always bugger off and start supporting Man City, they've got lots of money.
  14. surely it doesn't surprise people we have no money! That's why Moyes will be the best manager for the future, he tends to find bargins. We would all like Pienaar to stay, he just wants more money! We need to find more Rooney's, Rodwells, Jeffers, Vaughans etc, sell a couple and keep a couple, ie balance the books......and keep winning the football matches. That way we will survive. If you want more than survival, maybe we we will get a buyer like the ones Blackburn got Every clubs got debts, and with a tad of luck we will be looking down on quite a few come the spring.
  15. "Trautmann's Journey" By Catrine Clay. Christmas present!....The story of Bert Trautmann. The Manchester City goalkeeper, he of the 'broken neck', then played on for 16 mins in a cup final. I had read somewhere he had been a prisoner of war, but never realised his incredable story.Hitler youth, Russian front!....after capture was working on a bomb disposal unit in liverpool. Stayed in England after the war and became a one of the worlds greatest goalkeeper. Quote from the book" "The team Bert loved to watch most in those early days was Everton".....he thought Ted Sager (Everton goalkeeper) was the man to learn from. When he retired 47,000 fans attended his testimonial.
  16. Home to Birmingham! How to beat them! 15 minutes before kick off Moyes needs to assemble the lads and, point out this is NOT the Birmingham that are a point or two below us, the Birmingham that we should be beating easily at home! No, this is the mighty Birmingham City, at present in a false position, we will need to play as if they are a top 4 team......then, just maybe we can kick some arse. Baines to inspire, Osman to motivate and an Everton forward to score!
  17. And I want a chineese takeaway for tea, Kelly brooke as my main christmas present, to win the lottery on Saturday and for Everton to beat Birmingham! Guess what
  18. Finally Man City realise what they have to do to beat Everton. BUY.....Howard, Baines, Jags, Distin, Neville, Osman, Cahill, Fellaini, Rodwell, Coleman, Anichebe. They could even have a punt for Arteta and Pienaar....we didn't need them. City!.....You can buy people, you can't buy team spirit
  19. Howard, mention for Distin, boy did that man take some stick a few weeks back, tonight he was the rock in front of Howard. Leightons price went up another £5 million tonight, saying that, he wont leave Everton.
  20. Just a thought about Anichebes first yellow card! he kinda chased a through ball and collided with Hart.Didn't Anellka, do that the other week and got a penalty.Victer didn't change direction his weight carried him into the goalkeeper, Hart could have moved. His second yellow was even that bad to be honest. My dream still lives on!.....Anichebe and Vaughan to spearhead an exciting Everton team.
  21. After the 20 minute mark that was probably one of the most one sided football matches I've seen.......but 3 points is nice. Victor needs a kick up the arse, pretty sure he'll get one! Well we didn't dominate, we weren't pretty, but we beat a team full of over paid footballers.City have bought some bloody good players, but they couldn't beat the likes of Osman, Rodwell, Coleman, Anichebe and Hibert....all through the youth team, well except Coleman. Howard was brilliant and the defence were great, special mention for Distin. Get a win away at Birmingham and this will look brighter. Well done Everton
  22. Maybe the marriage is having a little wobble!....but please remember 'Fat Sam' is now foot loose and fancy free. He's one of many floozies, who would jump at the chance of a three year contract with Everton. The players/children who are 'growing up' and about to move on can hardly be blamed on Moyes, if we were a rich club, he would just give them more pocket money. He's spent what money he's had buying in Bily and Johny, both looked good on paper, but they haven't exactly paid off, that could happen to any manager. Some of our better players are off form, Arteta, Jags, Saha, maybe The Yak, I'm pretty sure Moyes is just as pissed of about this as us, add to those the above mentioned Bily and Jonny, and this 'best squad' we've had for years is going to struggle. I have a gut feeling that if the 'players' get it togeher and start performing then we should finish top 8, and if they do I for one would be happy to see what he does with another year.
  23. Talking to a liverpool fan yesterday, Hadn't seen him for a while and asked him what he thought of the season so far. His opinion was that Everton were playing by far the better football(than liverpool) this season and that we have a better squad, he would swap managers with us at the drop of a hat and finally the new owners maybe not be exactly what they need.So it's not just our fans who are depressed. Lescott left Everton for one reason £....and if we offered Pienaar the same as Spurs plus a couple of grand he would stay.Players will always make out their reason for leaving isn't money, surely you'd need to be stupid to believe them. Maghull is correct, we are not falling behind other teams in a major way.We are out playing teams but just can't bloody score.
