Like how to celebrate every goal like it's a 90th minute winner in a cup final

Although cats can be fluffy and adorable they have nothing on loyal protectors like Heitinga.

What has whether Hibbert played well got to do with anything? I was saying it didn't show trust in Duffy like Mark had said.

I think Vic offers a lot more than the likes of Zamora, Cole, Di Santo, Jerome, Welbeck, Defoe, and Agbonlahor ect. and still has potential to polish up his game. Outside Man U/City Chelsea and Arsenal Vic would be the second choice striker or 1st choice for the bottom half of the league.
The main things Vic lacks in imo is self-belief and attitude at times (fans partly to blame). Footballing wise he doesn't try hard enough but this could be put down to fitness and lack of match sharpness as the last time he had a run in the team he looked a force (before the Nolan tackle). Other than that all that pisses me off is his pee rollers across the box, but that can easily be worked on in training and not a major attribute for a striker anyway.

Feckin' Yakubu . Before his injury I thought his attitude had turned for the better with him running more and in general being a menace rather than his usual featherweight sulk. The past year though, it's been worse than ever. If we tried to mould him into a Drogba style player I think he would become a double figure striker, obviously he lacks the natural talent of Drogba and wouldnt be putting in 30 yarders, but he would be a competent player.

True that. You're right GB are complete amateurs in comparison, it's awful viewing really.

Don't know why but I just have a feeling Vic might do something this year.

Just arrived at the Olympics, got all me kit, still think Stella was a bit Lucy in the Sky when she knocked this one up.

i liked beattie..and that goal against fulham was one of the best i've ever seen..if a 'big' player had scored that we'd still be hearing about it

The last thing Tim ever did in an Everton shirt - punch Yohan Cabaye in the face.
That in itself earns him legend status with me.

Tbh, isn't that what any good chairman would try and do for their club? Yes, we're on the end of it but if it was the other way round then I'd want Kenwright to push for every penny.

Think the corner flag is a better option. A corner flag at the Gwladys end, having the number 17 on it.
No point retiring shirts (imo).

End of an era.
Tim Cahill has been an inspiration to Evertonians young and old in his time here, and i didn't think i would see the day come, when he would leave.
He will be a big loss to all those in the dressing room because of his love for the club, and the enthusiasm and attitude he has for us has always been so openly displayed.
Thanks Tim, have a nice relaxing time winding down, you've earned it.

Pointing out that he was one of our main players in the most successful season of the last decade and that he's a better player now than then. Done just as good as any other full back last season in my eyes.
