I have the same feeling. There is a lot more to consider if the original penalty is in any way overturned. 
Still very miffed other teams get penalties on the pitch and we get this! 

The PL spokesperson has apparently promised a decision on February 30th.

Bairstow definitely needs to go. A bit torn on Root but can't complain if he's dropped.
India giving youth a chance is the way to go.

Totally agree with all of that but thought it was a typical DCL performance. His all round game was very good but he can’t finish. Those two headers he missed were both sitters
 

I know he had a couple of opportunities last night but I do feel sorry for him at the minute because he's got a thankless task up front for us right now.
We are just twatting the ball up to him and hoping he can win it and then... what? Players aren't getting around him well enough. Last night he won 17 out of 20 duels - that's top work. But how many times did we support him after he's done that? We were slow to every second ball, really lethargic.
He needs to score, no doubt about that, but the rest of the players (midfield) need to help him. Whether that's being brave with the ball or being aggressive out of possession.

I don't think it's an agenda against us because we're Everton per se (although it often seems that way), but I do think it's an agenda to stick a punishment on us because we don't have the clout to fight back. A historically significant club fallen on hard times, bereft of a board, struggling on the pitch - let's demonstrate how tough we are by clobbering them. Maybe the others will sit up and take note. 
The PL would not be doing this with either of the Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea. 

I agree there is an agenda, but I don't hold with any conspiracy theories that they don’t like us so that’s why we are where we are. 
I think there agenda is too try and prove that they are in control of their own house and don’t require intervention from the government, so in doing so they have gone over board with the points deduction, even though they will say the points deduction was handed out by an independent commission, they did advise that commission to deduct 6 points for the crime and 1 point for every 5 million over, so low and behold we get a 10 point deduction, even though the so called independent commission said they ignored that advice from the PL, really? 

I really wouldn't. We've already seen how self serving and incompetent they are, wouldn't surprise me in the least if they maintain it to try and act tough.

At very best, I think six points will be returned. These will again be docked in the second appeal. Nottingham Forest will also lose six points.
I think it will be a straight fight between us, Forest, Luton and Palace who takes the third relegation spot.
I think we will prevail.

The delay is to allow themselves time to make sure they and the appeals board have had time to get their stories water tight, on why we lost the appeal and to make it hard for anyone to question the decision, unlike last time. Am I being paranoid?

neither Luton or Forest taking advantage today. poijts wise all in all goes down as a better weekend than expected.  

I think it’s just another case of disappointment. I was excited to see an open and transparent response to the select committee. To find out it was just more cloak and dagger cover up from Masters left me not wanting to even talk about it. If anything it has me even more concerned about the appeal and the second charge. We should have just done what City did and tell them to fuck right off. 
 
I can’t get my head around the “right way” to do things is to have the club lose more money (millions) so they can appear differently on a balance sheet. A process designed to promote sustainable business, which has done nothing but cost the club millions in legal representation, millions in reputation damage, and ultimately millions in prize money. Sustainability? 😂

3) To flex in in front of Parliament.
