what i hate about all this is liverpool apparently winning the proper way...top of the fair play league somehow when your players half the time look like they skating on ice with banana skins covered in jelly...and if you dare say anything of the sort then you're automatically bitter because the red shite can't argue against it
 
no major issue with whoever wins the title as i don't have to put up with the gobshites as much as the lads who live on merseyside..but if you tell me they've won it playing fair and not got shit loads of decisions their way then you're full of shit
 
the clowns over at rawk have been callin fix for years over united with the title...this year it actually looks dodgy as fuck with twattenburg gettin the major games for you lot and all the decisions etc...yet it's just fantastic football from liverpool(which in part yes it is i will admit)

I'll always point out the bad games Barkley has, i've been fairly critical of him a few times this season but like i said earlier, he still showed glimpses of what he can do. As for Stones, i cant remember him having that bad a game in all honesty? apart from the Derby at Anfield where he was played out of position and the whole team was dyer.
 
I agree the critisism of Lukaku is a bit harsh considering his record but i think the frustration with him is that he is a good player but if he just had that better touch and technique he would be unstoppable, too many times we see him lose the ball by getting it stuck between his feet or the ball just bouncing off him. But like you say, he's still developing.
 
Personally, i've just not seen enough of Gerry to think he will be anything special. He's showed snippets of good play but overall i've been very underwhelmed by most of his performances. I understand that he is also still young and developing but he hasnt shown enough for me.

Got absolutely no problem with Liverpool winning the league on footballing ability and results, however i'm getting sick already of Red's berating me about how incredible they are, how well we SHOULD have done and how they're Champions already.
 
Already got lads in work talking to me about how they're deserved winners, they may have had "one decision go in their favour" all season and people are claiming different because they don't want them to win the league "fairly", how Suarez (although better admittedly) hasn't cheated at all or conned anyone since last season. How Sterling is THE best young player in the world (obviously forgetting his terrible form up until February), blatantly spunking on Rodgers' comments.
 
They deserve the title. They genuinely do. So why can't their fans just be a little bit more respectful about it. Less 'gloaty' and just allow others to praise their team when they deserve it and not EXPECT it already.

I understand hes still young, I've used that as a defence for a few players because you still see glimpses of their quality, and you can see that they are still developing. I don't see that in Gerry.
 
Loved to be proved wrong but I just don't think the kids good enough. Hazard is actually a good comparison. There was a similar amount of hype across Europe as there as been with Gerry about his talent, but hazard was performing to a lot higher standard than Gerry is right now. You could say hazard was in a lesser league in France but I also recall him playing in the champions league when he was 19-20. You could see enough from him then to say would be a boss player. I don't see Gerry being at hazards level in a year or two.
