Eric if you score and keep a clean sheet, yeah your get something out of it, it's called a win and 3 points, dope.

I reckon if we score and keep a clean sheet we'll get something out of this.

On the evidence of the past two games we'd be better off conceding first!

I think it's more down to him being a bit of an idiot tbh.

dlblue reacted to Hafnia in Ashley Williams
I think his legs are going personally. He's a stopper when on form and the team is cohesive.
Stones is a £50m gift to the club. He will be sold in a year or two after being benched. Man City aint gonna put up with him much longer. Pep is under pressure and players will fall before him.

dlblue reacted to Hafnia in Ross Barkley
thought he was very good last night. He's either very brave and composed or stupid.... John Stones style. I thought he looked fitter and leaner too.
Could be the start for him. 2 men behind him who love a tackle - 2 men in front who can cause a goal threat. Valencia really helped with his running, there was space for him to exploit.

Good shout to be fair this mate. Think you're on the money with this one.

dlblue reacted to Paddock in Ross Barkley
His decision making at the end is why he'll. never be world class. He doesn't have the intelligence football wise. So frustrating because he is so natural on the ball.

dlblue reacted to Romey 1878 in Ronald Koeman
Some of our fans actually still want de Boer to replace Koeman.

This is exactly how i feel too.
Way too early to Judge. I cant believe people are saying we played good football under Martinez! We were a laughing stock, not much better now but its a knock on effect that's will take time to change. People need to remember this a complete teardown and not just a refurb job!
I agree with the comment regarding City and UTD too, we are very similar just on a different scale.
If we sign 4 of Koemans type of players in Jan I think it will make all the difference. Im hoping Van Dijk & Schneiderlin are 2 of those 4, they would certainly make a difference.
Conte inherited a top top team and still spent a fortune on players, completely different.

dlblue reacted to Sibdane in Morgan Schneiderlin
I agree. I think Barry is solid, but I also think that Schneiderlin would offer us more than him right now.

No changes for me, other than temporary cover for the Africans. Bring through some youngsters. Invest in the new stadium. Take time to be sure Koeman has what it takes to continue as manager. To do otherwise could turn out to be a very costly mistake.

dlblue reacted to Hafnia in Ronald Koeman
The idea that Koeman has nothing to do with transfers is a joke - of course he does.
I believe it goes something like this:-
Koeman:- "Steve Walsh, we need players"
Walsh:- "ok, what are you looking for?"
Koeman:- "I need a striker who can lead the line as a lone striker, an experienced centre half, and a number 10"
Walsh:- "ok, let me come back to you in a bit"
after x weeks
Walsh:- "Ok, we have a list of players who I believe fit the bill..... the following are ready now and I recommened higthly, the others are maybe for the future, the cost will be somewhere in the region of £xxxx, I have spoken to the agents and the players would be interested... what do you think"
Koeman:- "I like the look of this lad, what's his background, is he a team players, good in the dressing room etc? ok lets go for him as a priority"
walsh:- "lets see what I can do"
something like that

That's probably more of a plan than Koeman has!

It seems some people can't understand that players age. Baines and Jagielka were very good PL players when Martinez took over. Now especially Jags is a liability. Also McCarthy was great first season but shite for two.

dlblue reacted to c1982 in Ronald Koeman
Conte inherited a team that had won the league 2 years prior then massively underperformed last season.
-
dlblue reacted to c1982 in Ronald Koeman
It's all relative... we're shite but we are still the shite team that finished 11th last season and the season before. Man U fans think they're shite and I imagine some Man C fans are beginning to think they're shite - all these managers have been brought in to sort something; Koeman, like Mourinho and Guardiola, can see that he hasn't got what he needs to do what he plans currently. Patience is important.
-
dlblue reacted to c1982 in Ronald Koeman
Us calling for Koeman's head is the equivalent of Man C fans calling for Guardiolla's or Man U fans calling for Mourinho's. 1 window won't fix it.

Unsworth as manager at this point is a top candidate for worst suggestion of the season.
-
dlblue reacted to Paddock in Ronald Koeman
If you think David Unsworth is good enough to manage a top premier league team Steve you're absolutely mad.
-
dlblue got a reaction from Sibdane in Morgan Schneiderlin
Not of the Quality of Schneiderlin, surely you wouldnt turn down the chance to sign a player of his calibre.
Mcarthy will be gone, as will Clevs.

To say the jury is still out on him is perfectly understandable, just don't get the shouts to kick him out after 5 minutes in the job
-
dlblue reacted to Romey 1878 in Morgan Schneiderlin
Schneiderlin is quality so I couldn't care less who we'd be signing him from.
