    Now I'm excited!
Think I need to sit down for a moment haha.
So good to see Coleman back. Pretty exciting team out.

We always try to play high tempo. A build-up using short passes and a high tempo are not mutually exclusive. Just look at the first half of our last game, like Bailey said. And for anyone who's gonna argue that Barcelona's tiki taka is boring regardless, we don't play like them: we still emphasize wing play and still put in a shit-ton of crosses for example, we do try to blend the two styles. It's also got nothing to do with how agressive or conservative you defend, just think of the 1-1 draw at the Emirates last year where we barely allowed Arsenal to get out of their own half for the first 40 minutes of the game or so.

Playing direct football with lots of long forward balls doesn't always result in a high tempo either, just think of all of the times under Moyes where we were working the ball around the opposition box going nowhere after we hoofed it forward and managed to bring the ball back under our control in that area. Also with Fellaini and Cahill gone we simply don't have the player that could make that work imo.

If anything, we needed to control possession better and needed to slow things down against Leicester. That would have allowed us to rest and defend (they can't score if we've got the ball) on the ball. Anything can happen in an open, uptempo game and we conceded an equalizer.

Maybe he's not as good as people have thought?
He's been given a chance to shine at our training ground and the manager isn't breaking his neck to sign him.

Not saying it's his fault but I don't think the manager needs to be criticised for it either.

It's more our own feverish and relentless quest to seek out rumours that has built this up.

Martinez is just doing what Moyes had to do when he first came in. Moyes built a young side that would stay together for a decade and now their time is over and Martinez is just repeating the process.

There's no new strategy here. Just common sense.

This Malky Mackay situation smells a bit like a set up to me. That Cardiff chairman has stitched him like a kipper over this because they've fallen out.

This might sound stupid but isn't that what we have been doing for years and years? Besic is young but he is going to be playing in the first team with Lukaku so they're not really ones for the future as they're for the present.

Galloway is going to be playing in reserves but apart from that not sure which other people we can say would get in the Everton team in a couple of years who we have bought this transfer market?

I'm not disagreeing with you just wondering that's all. I do know what you mean that we will have a young squad but we will always be buying new players who can walk straight into the first team squad as well. I don't think I am getting my point across well here either.

I guess I mean yes we can buy youngsters in for the U21 squad and try to build for the future but at the same time we will always be buying more players who can walk into the first team straight away which at will also halt players progress. Like when we got rid of Fellaini - we get McCarthy, Barry. Jelavic - Kone, Lukaku, Traore. Also out of the U18, U21 squad most of them are English (which is great) but how many would get into the first team in 3 years time? I don't know a lot about the U21, U18 but when Rodwell, Rooney, Barkley, Vaughan and Baxter were all progressing there was a lot of hype surrounding each of them but I haven't heard anything else about anyone.

Maybe it is just me being cynical but I just don't see anything changing drastically in the next 3 years except a few players getting into the first team but apart from that we would still be relying on transfers.

    P.S
I think I have just talked a lot of winny wanny there, trying to get my point across but failing.

That's what he's been saying from the start. He's never been part of anyone's first team squad, so it'd be weird if he walked into ours.

You're forgetting to mention Robles has made mistakes in pretty much every game he's played and doesn't seem to have the leg to be able to kick the ball out of our half of the pitch as well. To be honest there's not one area where he has impressed me.

It was no different under Moyes, possibly worse. We had mid/long term injuries with zero indication of when they'd be back from either the manager or the OS ("return unknown" was the most common evaluation).

I don't mean nothing Steve-E, I just thought he played a really tidy game.didn't see him being wasteful. Though imply comparing to the rest of the team.

I wouldn't have. Every time we don't win it's a disappointing result, no matter who we play and no matter the circumstances.

Are you retarded? Baines had just pressed the winger hence why he was further up the pitch? Coleman was AHEAD and INLINE with Stones and would have been in a 4 had Mirallas been in position.

I seriously give up with you. Absolute WUM.
