I feel it will be a sad day for EFC discarding Ross Barkley ! ,I hope this is all fictional paper stories
I agree, but he does not really fit into the 'Koeman system' RK does not tend to go for players like Ross who can run with the ball, if you look back over his time at various clubs they are all players who sit on the half way line and spray the ball about, that's not really Ross(not saying he can't learn to do that though)
-
I know he manages the other lot, but Klopp is just awesome

I can't honestly see who would want to buy him at the moment, he has hardly set the world on fire this season. The body language between him and RK is not great lets be honest now, but at the same time, Koeman could just be trying to motivate him, but so far i would question RK's motivational skills in general at times with the whole team, the crowd seem to do a better job. IF this were to happen i certainly don't see it happening till the summer, never going to happen in january.

Cmon EVERTON!!!
-
For all the stick he's received, Valencia has been very good
He has certainly showed that in there is a player somewhere, done really well so far
-
Tempers going into the tunnel. No idea why, but I'll take some Everton anger over passivity.
McCarthy again though involved and he has already been booked, i hope he does not get sent off, RK needs to tell him to calm down

Unfortunately players like Hunter and Bremmner from Leeds, Roy Keane from united and Souness from the pool are no longer available these days because the powers that be have cut down on tackles.
We now have to put up with Defenders and midfielders who are more like Nancy boys, but they should still be able to show a bit of pride in their performance.
Our players are showing nothing, no spirit, no guts, and no determination. Piss poor the lot of them.
Saying that, Rom could take a leaf out of Diego Costa's book if he wanted, Costa is just awesome when he is on his game

Honestly, I think Koeman has just been brutally honest with the players. He's run the rule over them and decided that they're shit and now they've all got the hump.
Most know they will get the boot over the next couple of windows so are just sticking 2 fingers up so to speak by not trying in the games, problem is it's the fans that suffer.
-
He obviously does not rate the squad much though, no wonder some of them don't seem to putting much effort in, bring on the window so we can get rid/bring in some new blood
-
No wonder all the players were on their phones in the dressing room the other day, clearly the manager has little faith in many of them
-
But as stated on match of the day 2 that is not the style of football he played or promoted at Southampton.
I think he's looking to make the players scapegoats for his failings, to give him a load of money in January could be the biggest gamble this club has taken in years, I truly believe he will squander it, and we will be looking down the barrel of relegation, with him and his brother laughing all the way to the bank.
The shit sisters need to go now we are the worst team in the league at the moment, with our results and general play.
He never inherited a team that was this bad he added to it and made it the team it is today, possibly the worst football I have seen an Everton team play since the nineties.
We have a duty as the supporters and the people that love this club, to express our discontent of the management to let Moshiri know we want a change, if we don't Moshiri may stand by him for to long out of not wanting to be seen as a he made the mistake of bringing him here.
It's time to start calling for dismissal, the way we are playing it shouldn't be suggested it's to early let's make sure it's not to late.
That depends, today in a few places we are being linked with Ever Banega, the Argentine AM, at times he can be inconsistent(not even getting in the Inter team at the moment) but he can also be brilliant on his day, he is defiantely the sort of player we should be looking at.

Where's the 'yawn' icon?
It got exhausted of being posted in this thread so has gone to the pub!!

id agree with all that. I think as soon as the new owner came in, new setup behind the scenes in general, all bar a few know they're not wanted and so have conceded that they'll pick up their wage until they're moved on.
Happened in our team at work when the new guy came in 7-8 months ago; he was more interested in making himself look good to the powers above than actually helping the team and is happy to leave people nervous and disillusioned until he can get rid of some of us or we quit - 3 have gone in his time and 2/3rds of us left know we're next.
The picture floating around the web of them all on their phones in the dressing room goes along with what you are saying Matt, i think a good 7/8 of them know they are on the way out in the next window or two, McCarthy is linked with West Brom this morning for instance.
-
It said on the radio this morning that Koeman is looking to bring 4 new players in during the Jan window.
-
Im not one for sacking managers quickly but at least under Martinez we tried to play, just could not keep it out, i just don't see how he is going to bring in 7/8 in Jan and make it work, there has been no sign whatsoever that Koeman is capable of that. God we are in a mess at the moment.
-
I am fairly split in my opinion on Rom but then i read stuff like this and it makes me think.....get lost you cheeky sod
He does come accross at times like he just wants it handed on a plate for him
-
Wonder how much we'll be paying for him if it's true.
That does worry me slightly, Matt mentioned in another thread something about £60m for both!
-
Not sure if this guy is playing against spurs tonight.
-
-
apparently they want £60m for them both.
That seems like a hell of a lot considering both are reserve players as such
-
Why does it have to be one extreme or the other?
What we need is to mix play up and play to Lukakus strengths more
We don't have the support for him, our wingers are crap and we don't have anyone in the middle to play the ball through to him, Barkley just does'nt seem to want to do it.
-
Take with a pinch of salt i reckon
