agreed Howard keeping us in it there. We dropping deeper though and Beckford needs help up front. Chelsea will score soon unless something changes.

Arteta needs to learn how to cross if you ask me. I haven't seen a decent cross/set piece from him all season.

I feel it's only a matter of time till Chelsea score, even though you won't say they're dominating, we're a bit scrapppy at the back, and still showing no real incisiveness up front, (though baines's crosses have been decent)

My head says we get knocked out today, either in 90 minutes, or, if we turn up, by penalties. However, my heart keeps telling me that I should expect the unexpected. A win for us would be just what the doctor ordered to lift the dismal spirit that seems to have drenched Everton (both club & suppporters) in recent weeks. COYB!

After seeing the highlights in MOTD, I chose Baxter as he brought a save from their keeper, though I could have given it to Baines for that cross which Cahill should have headed home - that was a beast of a cross, to be fair. Arteta and Felli didn't seem to have been complete out of their depth in midfield, so I'm not sure why one would chose them. Heitinga and Distin both looked like they had an awful day as well. I'm just hoping that Moyes can motivate them for the next game (not to mention the rest of the season), cos, they seemed totally unarsed from what I could make out. In truth, that was something of a six pointer today. I we'd have won, we'd have shot up 8th and been level with Bolton, and only a few points off Sunderland (7th). Oh no, never that easy at Everton, is it! Not sure we'll get relegated this season, but unless investment comes in, it's looking like it might be a real possibility in the next year or two.

Just watched the MOTD2 highlights - we looked absolutely awful. Glad in a way, I didn't watch the match. Interesting comments by Ginola, about our team spirit!!

Half a million in losses may not seem like much in the overall scheme of things, but for me it says one thing clearly; we don't have two pennies to rub together and any chance of signing Messi are a long way off. I'm not sure about that, Baines has been a beast for us this year, but compared to Baines, even thought he has played less, Felli is not even a beast , he's werewolf league. Felli, without a shadow has been our player of the season, (a few weeks ago, i would have argued Peanuts into that, but since he's left, I can see more that Felli is our best player this season.) To lose him would be a major, major blow, both physically (in terms of the squad) and mentally. Yet, the article is true, unless the board can show some ambition, Felli will leave, just as Heits, Billy, Distin, Jags, Arteta, Cahill, and Rodwell.

I do a full system reinstall if things get too messy, or at least every six months or so. With windows 7 it only takes an hour or so. But you've got to be careful!
