Let's give time for Besic to blend into the squad and not put all the pressure on him by starting him for his first game against Arsenal. Plus he'd be nice to have as a secret weapon if we're 1-0 down in the 80th minute.

Lukaku needs to prove his worth this half. Not really been getting in the game much. He only needs one chance though.

He is all of those, a great player... However, I do feel he has his off days where he lacks in his first touch and technique.

Atsu, I'd say, is more of a winger to back up Mirallas, rather than a striker.

Lukaku could have declined that much in fitness. He was even training with Anderlect (sp?) after the world cup.

Still favourites to sign him @ 1.6 (13/8) As long as we wouldn't be paying more than £6 or 7m for him I'd be very happy to have him on board.

Positives from this half! Our trickery next season will be very good! Some of our players have a lot of flair, Besic, Barkley, McGeady, Mirallas, Pienaar. Im not worried after this game I truly believe we will hit the ground running.

McGeady might make some silly mistakes and maybe some poor decision making but he will make a lot of chances this season.

Besic will be a key player in the two Liverpool games IMO, we need a player to shake them and someone to get stuck in!

Duffy has looked all right since coming on. Hope he regains his potential.
