I've got man love for Martinez.
It's frustrating watching us play at times just now. But we can play a hell of a lot better and we will.
We are in the right hands. He'll improve a lot at the club...the culture, mentality, belief.
I think this season he will learn a lot. It's his first time juggling Europe with the league. It's a tough task. He will, and has, get things wrong (although hindsight a fine thing). But he will learn.
I look forward to the future.

Knowing Rom, he was probably being sarcastic.
Either way, I've got my popcorn ready...

Oh did he? I didn't realise that.
In that case I can see wholesale changes.
That's my future reading skills at their best.

Right, ok. Give examples.
West Ham. That's the one and only where he has gone down without contact.
When else has he gone down without contact?
Mentioning him alongside Ashley Young is so OTT.
Your right with Jags, he had no need to 'tackle' Milner...but he did in exactly the same way as Lampard did to Barkley. One was a penalty, one was a booking for a dive. Hence the ref was crap. It's not an excuse, it's the very reason.

Looking forward to seeing Kone.
I really hope he stays fit. I really do think he'll be a useful player for us.
Fingers crossed.

What a bore. Both teams are flat.
Shame is, City are there for the taking. They clearly have their eyes on the all important champions league game...yet we are lacking any ambition.
Coleman has been woeful. Get him off for McGeady. Barry looks like he has aged 10 years in the last month or so, so slow...get him off for Barkley.
Let's set up to hit them with pace down both wings and with Lukaku, Eto'o and Barkley powering through the middle.
I just can't believe how flat we are...again.

You should have asked him if his forum name was 'Millwallforever'!!!!

Newty82 got a reaction from Toffee_in_LA in Longest Thread For Drivel (or the Romelu Lukaku thread)
This is key. Our build up play was so slow that it allowed Spurs to drag everyone back, get into shape and look like they defended solid. We need to keep the same idea of play, as in keep ball, but when attacking, do so with pace. We can, and have on many occasions, played this way and it works brilliantly.
Can't put any blame on Lukaku yesterday. By the time we worked the ball up into his 'zone', there was no where for him to go.

Maybe in terms of possession we deserved something.
The increasing problem with all this possession, which I like us having, is that we don't use it correctly. I think it's right to pass it across the back and build up but it's poor to work it forward then all the way back again...and that happened to often today.
To often it was only Lukaku in the box with 6 or so spurs players in there. That's no good. When we've done all that work to get the ball up into wide positions, more players need to attack the box. Not stand around the edge of it.
I expect this to get sorted out...then we'll be at the races again.

He's not that bad though. He really isn't.
I doubt there's any available keepers that are better than him.
I like Paddy ' s call for Cech. That would be ace.
