I've no doubt Rooney will get his chance here at some point. But what he's doing at Derby at the moment is surely a potential massive fairytale he can't abandon half way through. He'll be in dreamland at the moment. Saying that, I said benitez would stay and he got sacked 2 hours later so we'll announce Rooney at lunchtime I imagine.

So with no manager and no DOF, I guess the squad we have is the one we have for the rest of the season. Would have liked a few more additions but not if it means Moshiri making the decisions!
